When you link your WestJet Rewards and Triangle Rewards® accounts, you’ll have the ability to:

Yes, the Credit Card Bonus is different from the “earn on everyday purchases” associated with your specific type of WestJet RBC Mastercard credit card. The “earn on everyday purchases” does not require you to be linked to a Triangle Rewards® account and is issued to the credit card account holder monthly in conjunction with their credit card statement.
As a linked member, you are eligible for the Credit Card Bonus when you make an Eligible Purchase at a Participating Store with your WestJet RBC Mastercard credit card. You may be entitled to both the Credit Card Bonus and the “earn on everyday purchases”, though the eligibility requirements and amounts may differ. Converting Points
You can convert WestJet points to Canadian Tire Money®, but you cannot convert Canadian Tire Money® to WestJet points.
You can convert WestJet points to Canadian Tire Money® by logging into your WestJet Rewards account and selecting Convert under the Triangle Rewards® section.

Triangle Rewards® and WestJet Rewards linked loyalty program Terms and Conditions
To understand how Canadian Tire Corporation, Limited† (“CTC”) and WestJet‡ collect, use and share your personal information when you link your Triangle Rewards®† and WestJet Rewards accounts (“Linked Loyalty Program”), see the Collection and Use of Personal Information section.
ACCEPTANCE OF LINKING TERMS
1. Acknowledgement and Acceptance: These Linked Loyalty Program Terms (referred to hereafter as the “Terms”) set out the terms and conditions of the Linked Loyalty Program that apply when you link a Triangle Rewards Account and WestJet Rewards Account. Capitalized terms have the meanings set out at the end of this document. By linking your Triangle Rewards Account and WestJet Rewards Account, you acknowledge that you have received, read, understood and agreed to all the Terms. You also acknowledge and agree that you are contracting with both CTC and WestJet and are therefore subject to any additional applicable terms and conditions of each entity, as outlined in Section 3. The Terms take effect at the time you click the “Link Accounts” button for your Triangle Rewards Account and the “Yes” button for your WestJet Rewards Account, in the Province or Territory in which you live.
2. Most current terms: Notwithstanding any other section of the Terms, the posting of the current version of the Terms at https://triangle.canadiantire.ca/en/partners/westjet-partner.html and westjet.com/triangle is deemed to give you notice of the Terms, where required or permitted to be given hereunder. The Terms replace all prior terms and conditions with respect to the Linked Loyalty Program. We reserve the right to change the Terms, and we will notify you as required by the law of your Province or Territory. See Section 17 for further information on changes.
3. Terms are in Addition to Existing Conditions: The Terms apply to the Linked Loyalty Program and are in addition to the terms and conditions of any Triangle Rewards Program Terms and Conditions and WestJet Rewards Terms and Conditions. If there is a conflict between (i) the Terms; and (ii) the Triangle Rewards Program Terms and Conditions or the WestJet Rewards Terms and Conditions, the Terms will prevail to the extent necessary to resolve the conflict in relation to the Linked Loyalty Program.
LINK YOUR TRIANGLE REWARDS ACCOUNT AND WESTJET REWARDS ACCOUNT
4. Linked Loyalty Requirements: You must be a member in good standing of each of the Triangle Rewards Program and the WestJet Rewards Program to link your accounts and to participate in the Linked Loyalty Program. Each Triangle Rewards Account may only be linked to one WestJet Rewards Account, and each WestJet Rewards Account may only be linked to one Triangle Rewards Account. Please note that after you click the “Link Accounts” button, the Triangle Rewards session may remain active in the background, and the member may continue to be logged into their Triangle Rewards Account for a limited period of time.
5. Liability for Linking Correct Account Details: You are responsible for ensuring that you have completed the membership enrollment and registration process for your Triangle Rewards Account and your WestJet Rewards Account. When linking your Triangle Rewards Account and your WestJet Rewards Account online at https://triangle.canadiantire.ca/en/partners/westjet-partner/linking-confirmation.html, you are responsible for entering the following information:
- Triangle Rewards Account: email address or digital username, and password.
- WestJet Rewards Account: email address or WestJet Rewards ID, and password.
Neither CTC, nor WestJet, will be responsible for any linking error made on your part. You may not link a Triangle Rewards Account and a WestJet Rewards Account owned by another person. Users are able to unlink their Triangle Rewards Account and their WestJet Rewards Account at any time through the Triangle Rewards or WestJet Rewards online portal.
6. No Additional Cost: There is no cost for linking your Triangle Rewards Account and your WestJet Rewards Account.
LINKED LOYALTY PROGRAM
7. CTC Eligible Purchases: Electronic Canadian Tire Money®† (“CT Money®†”) can be earned and redeemed on Eligible Purchases (pre-tax) at participating locations including, Canadian Tire and Party City retail store locations (both of which are independently owned and operated), SportChek, Mark’s, L’Équipeur, Pro Hockey Life, Sports Rousseau, Hockey Experts, Atmosphere, L’Entrepôt du Hockey and participating Sports Experts locations across Canada (collectively referred to as “Participating Stores”).
Terms and conditions apply to earning and redeeming CT Money. Your participation in the Triangle Rewards Program is governed by the Triangle Rewards Program Terms and Conditions. Refer to the Triangle Rewards Program Terms and Conditions on Triangle Rewards' Partner Page or Eligible Purchases and additional information.
CT Money is exclusive of any bonus or promotional offers. CT Money you earn upon making an Eligible Purchase cannot be redeemed for that purchase and can only be redeemed on a subsequent Eligible Purchase after the CT Money has been processed and issued to a Triangle Rewards Account.
In order to earn WestJet points at Participating Stores, your Triangle Rewards Account must be linked with your WestJet Rewards Account and remain linked until your rewards account is credited.
8. WestJet Eligible Purchases: WestJet Eligible Purchases (excluding government imposed taxes and fees) include the following:
(a) WestJet-Marketed Flights: WestJet Rewards Members earn WestJet points based on eligible spend on WestJet Eligible Fares and WestJet Eligible Ancillaries (including, but not limited to checked baggage fees, cabin upgrade fees, pre-reserved fees and other Air Transportation Charges). WestJet Rewards Members earn points based on their tier status at time of activity or travel.
(b) Partner Eligible Fares on Partner-Marketed Flights: WestJet Rewards Members earn WestJet points based on mileage flown and class of service purchased (as applicable) at the published rates.
(c) WestJet Vacations Eligible Packages and WestJet Vacations Land-Only Bookings: WestJet Rewards Members earn WestJet points at published rates for each WestJet Rewards Member listed in the booking based on their proportionate share of the total eligible spend.
(collectively “WestJet Eligible Purchases”).
WestJet Eligible Purchases exclude: UltraBasic fares, Member Exclusive fares, contracted fares, reward program redemptions, tour operator fares, charters, other carrier-marketed code-share flights, Sunwing Vacations and Vacances WestJet bookings, and any in-flight purchases.

In order to earn CT Money on a WestJet Eligible Purchase, your WestJet Rewards Account must be linked with your Triangle Rewards Account prior to the departure of a flight segment (any single takeoff and landing by an aircraft) and must remain linked until any CT Money is credited to your Triangle Rewards Account.
9. CT Money Earn Rate: Linked Members will earn CT Money on WestJet Eligible Purchases (excluding government imposed taxes and fees) at the following rates:
(a) 0.4% base earn when using a payment method other than a Triangle credit card issued by Canadian Tire Bank.
In cases where there are multiple passengers on a booking under a WestJet Eligible Purchase, any Linked Member will earn 0.4% base on the value of WestJet Eligible Purchases attributable solely to their own travel, excluding any costs for other travellers included in the same booking.
(b) 1.0% when paying with a Triangle credit card issued by Canadian Tire Bank and the WestJet Eligible Purchase is made directly with WestJet (issued in the form of 0.4% base earn as noted in (a) above and 0.6% as a Credit Card Bonus which may appear in your Triangle Rewards Account up to thirty (30) days later than the 0.4% base earn).
In cases where there are multiple passengers on a booking under a WestJet Eligible Purchase, any Linked Member will earn both the 0.4% base earn and 0.6% Credit Card Bonus on the value of WestJet Eligible Purchases attributable solely to their own travel, excluding any costs for other travellers included in the same booking.
For further clarification, a Triangle credit card account holder will not earn the 0.4% base earn or the 0.6% Credit Card Bonus on the full transaction amount paid at the time of purchase. The Triangle credit card account holder will only earn the 0.4% base earn and 0.6% Credit Card Bonus on the value of WestJet Eligible Purchases attributable solely to their own travel, excluding any costs for other travellers included in the same booking.
Any CT Money earned will be rounded up or down up to two (2) decimals.
CT Money earn rate is subject to change. See Section 17 for further information on changes.
CTC is solely responsible for the calculation, issuance, administration, redemption, expiry and forfeiture of CT Money, in accordance with the Triangle Rewards Program Terms and Conditions.
10. WestJet Points Earn Rate: Linked Members will earn WestJet points at Participating Stores at the following rates:
(a) One (1) WestJet point for every two dollars ($2.00) CAD of eligible pre-tax spend at Participating Stores when paying with cash, debit, or any credit card other than an eligible WestJet RBC Mastercard.
(b) Two (2) WestJet points for every two dollars ($2.00) CAD of eligible pre-tax spend when paying with a WestJet RBC Mastercard. This will be issued in the form of:
(i)One (1) WestJet point as noted above in 10(a);
(ii) One (1) WestJet point as a Credit Card Bonus.
Section 10(a), (b)(i) and (b)(ii) are calculated based on 0.5% of Eligible Purchases at Participating Stores.
Any WestJet points earned will be rounded up or down to the nearest whole number (no decimals).
WestJet earn rate is subject to change. See Section 17 for further information on changes. WestJet is solely responsible for the calculation, issuance, administration, redemption, expiry and forfeiture of WestJet points, in accordance with the WestJet Rewards Terms and Conditions.
11. Eligible Purchases. Linked Members will be able to earn both CT Money and WestJet points on Eligible Purchases at Participating Stores and on WestJet Eligible Purchases.
At Participating Stores Linked Members are required to either scan their Triangle Rewards card, input the numbers of their linked Triangle Rewards account, use another Cardless Method, or pay with their Triangle credit card issued by Canadian Tire Bank.
For WestJet Eligible Purchases, Linked Members are required to enter their WestJet Rewards ID prior to the departure of a flight segment.
For Eligible Purchases at Participating Stores, Linked Members will earn WestJet points within forty-eight (48) hours. For WestJet Eligible Purchases, Linked Members will earn CT Money within thirty (30) days of completion of a flight segment (any single takeoff and landing by an aircraft). The amount of CT Money earned on a WestJet Eligible Purchase depends on the value of the WestJet Eligible Purchase.
12. No Paper CT Money: Paper CT Money will not be issued.
13. Use of CT Money: CT Money cannot be redeemed for any purchases with WestJet or used as a credit against an outstanding balance on a WestJet credit card account.
14. Use of WestJet Points: WestJet points cannot be used toward redemptions at any Participating Stores or websites participating in the Triangle Rewards Program.
15. WestJet Points Conversion: Linked Members can convert WestJet points into CT Money at a rate of one hundred twenty (120) WestJet points to one dollar ($1.00) in CT Money. A minimum of two thousand four hundred (2400) WestJet points must be transferred. WestJet reserves the right to change the conversion rate and/or impose conversion limits (minimum and maximum) from time to time, in its sole discretion, subject to applicable laws and regulations. Notice will be provided in accordance with the applicable law of your Province or Territory. See Section 17 for information on changes. For further details, visit westjet.com/triangle.
Conversion is optional and initiated solely by the Linked Member. Converted WestJet points will be permanently deducted from the Linked Member’s WestJet Rewards Account and replaced with CT Money, subject to the Triangle Rewards Program Terms and Conditions.
Conversion transactions cannot be reversed, cancelled or converted back once completed.
16. Future Offers: CTC and WestJet may make available additional or different offers as part of the Linked Loyalty Program from time to time. Such offers may be subject to additional terms and conditions which will be made available in connection with any such offer. CTC or WestJet may provide Linked Members the opportunity to earn additional CT Money or WestJet points on a promotional basis from time to time.
17. Changes to Linked Loyalty Program: Subject to applicable laws and regulations, the Linked Loyalty Program may be changed, cancelled or withdrawn, including but not limited to, changes to i) the eligibility criteria to participate in the Linked Loyalty Program; ii) the benefits associated with linking, including the rate at which CT Money or WestJet points are earned or redeemed, as applicable; iii) the types of cards/accounts eligible for the Linked Loyalty Program; iv) rules relating to the operation of the Linked Loyalty Program; v) rules relating to the suspension or termination of your participation in the Linked Loyalty Program; vi) rules relating to errors in the allocation of CT Money or WestJet points and the handling of complaints; and vii) the provisions related to the modification of all or any of these Terms. You may refuse these modifications and terminate your participation in the Linked Loyalty Program without cost, penalty or cancellation indemnity at any time.
In the event of a material error, omission, technical problem, computer virus or bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failure or any other cause beyond our reasonable control that interferes with the proper conduct of any aspect of the Linked Loyalty Program as set out in these Terms, CTC and WestJet reserve the right to withdraw or temporarily change or suspend all or part of the Linked Loyalty Program as they may determine in their sole discretion.
Notwithstanding the above, you acknowledge and agree that we may not notify you: (i) every time we expand the Linked Loyalty Program to add new or modify Linked Loyalty Program features and offers; (ii) every time we expand our Linked Loyalty Program to add new cards/accounts; (iii) for changes to the Linked Loyalty Program and/or the Terms such as those that are purely cosmetic or organizational (such as changes to punctuation, vocabulary, paragraph order, etc.), procedural, or for any other non-substantive changes; provided these changes do not negatively impact your rights, benefits or obligations under the Linked Loyalty Program and/or these Terms.
Notification required pursuant to these Terms, including when changes made to the Linked Loyalty Program will be provided to you in accordance with the applicable law of your Province or Territory.
For Quebec residents, we will send you a written notice, drafted clearly and legibly, setting out exclusively the new or amended clause, the clause as it read formerly, the effective date of the change, and your rights to refuse the change and cancel the contract without cost, penalty or cancellation indemnity. This written notice will be sent to you between ninety (90) days and sixty (60) days prior to a change of an essential element of the Linked Loyalty Program or thirty (30) days prior to a change of a non-essential element of the Linked Loyalty Program. The notice may be sent to you by electronic transmission, when applicable. CTC may make changes to the Triangle Rewards Program in accordance with the Triangle Rewards Program Terms and Conditions and WestJet may make changes to the WestJet Rewards Program in accordance with the WestJet Rewards Program Terms and Conditions.
18. Cancellation: Subject to applicable laws and notice requirements, either CTC or WestJet may unlink any Triangle Rewards Account and WestJet Rewards Account, including if you are or become ineligible for the Linked Loyalty Program, when either CTC or WestJet suspect fraudulent activity, misuse of the WestJet Rewards Program or the Triangle Rewards Program, or for any other reason specified in the Triangle Rewards Program Terms and Conditions or WestJet Rewards Program Terms and Conditions.
19. System errors: CTC reserves the right to make any adjustments and correct any errors pertaining to your CT Money, in accordance with the Triangle Rewards Program Terms and Conditions. You may contact CTC for any questions related to CT Money issuance. See Section 27. If you do not receive CT Money as a result of a system error relating to a WestJet Eligible Purchase, please complete and submit the following form at https://www.westjet.com/en-ca/account/missing-rewards.
WestJet reserves the right to make any adjustments and correct any errors pertaining to your WestJet points, in accordance with the WestJet Rewards Program Terms and Conditions. You may contact WestJet for any questions related to the issuance of WestJet points. See Section 27. If you do not receive WestJet points as a result of a system error relating to Eligible Purchases at Participating Stores, please contact CTC using the contact details listed below.
20. Immediate/Real-Time Linking of Rewards Accounts: Once you click the “Yes” button, your Triangle Rewards Account and WestJet Rewards Account will be linked immediately, or after twenty-four (24 hours), whichever is first.
21. Unlinking: You can unlink your Triangle Rewards Account and WestJet Rewards Account at any time; however, prior to unlinking, Linked Members must ensure any rewards that are earned have been processed and credited to their rewards account. Unlinking your Triangle Rewards Account and WestJet Rewards Accounts will not end your enrollment in the Triangle Rewards Program or the WestJet Rewards Program. Upon unlinking, you will no longer be able to participate in the Linked Loyalty Program.
22. Enrollment in Triangle Rewards: In order to participate in the Linked Loyalty Program, you must be a registered member in the Triangle Rewards Program. Your Triangle Rewards Account must be registered before attempting to link it to your WestJet Rewards Account, otherwise you will be asked to do so before completion of linking can occur.
23. Enrollment in WestJet Rewards: In order to participate in the Linked Loyalty Program, you must be a registered member in the WestJet Rewards Program. Your WestJet Rewards Account must be registered before attempting to link it to your Triangle Rewards Account, otherwise you will be asked to do so before completion of linking can occur.
24. Triangle Rewards and WestJet Rewards are Independent: CTC and WestJet will continue to independently operate the Triangle Rewards Program and WestJet Rewards Program respectively.
25. CTC is not an Agent of WestJet: CTC does not act on behalf of WestJet. CTC is solely responsible for (i) the services and benefits offered through the Triangle Rewards Program; (ii) the administration of such program, including how you can earn and redeem CT Money; and (iii) the Triangle Rewards Program Terms and Conditions. WestJet does not act on behalf of CTC.
26. WestJet is not an Agent of CTC: WestJet does not act on behalf of CTC. WestJet is solely responsible for (i) the services and benefits offered through the WestJet Rewards Program; (ii) the administration of such program, including how you can earn and redeem WestJet points on applicable WestJet Eligible Purchases; and (iii) the WestJet Rewards Terms and Conditions. CTC does not act on behalf of WestJet.
27. Contacting CTC or WestJet: If you have any questions related to the Triangle Rewards Program, including about your CT Money balance or account you may contact Triangle Rewards customer service by calling 1-800-226-8743 or by mail at PO Box 2000 Station Main, Welland, Ontario L3B 5S3. If you have any questions related to the WestJet Rewards program, including earning or redeeming WestJet points, you must complete the following form at https://www.westjet.com/en-ca/rewards/contact-us/contact-form.
28. Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the law of the Province or Territory in which you reside at the time you link your Triangle Rewards Account and WestJet Rewards Account, and the applicable federal laws of Canada.
29. Account Status Changes: Please allow up to twenty-four (24) hours to process a request to link or unlink your Triangle Rewards and WestJet Rewards Accounts. Eligible Purchases made while requests are being processed do not qualify. If you do not begin receiving the benefits of linking accounts twenty-four (24) hours after making the request to link you should notify CTC immediately at the contact details listed above. Neither CTC nor WestJet will be liable for any offers for which a person may have been eligible before such notification.
PRIVACY AND HANDLING OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
30. Collection and Privacy: CTC and WestJet each collect, use, share and otherwise handle (“Handle”) your personal information in accordance with their respective privacy policies, as may be amended from time to time. While some information about the Handling of your personal information is included here, these policies provide more information about how and why your personal information is Handled, and your privacy rights and choices. 31. Personal Information involved in Linking: When you link your Triangle Rewards Account and your WestJet Rewards Account, CTC and WestJet, and their respective employees, agents, and service providers, Handle your personal information, which may include your WestJet Rewards ID, WestJet Rewards Account status, along with a unique identifier to represent the linking relationship between CTC and WestJet for the purposes of the administration of the Linked Loyalty Program and the provision of the benefits, services, and rewards that you earn with the Linked Loyalty Program. This includes the purposes described under “Marketing” below.
32. Marketing: CTC and WestJet may communicate with you about your use of, or to promote and provide information about the benefits, services, and rewards of the Linked Loyalty Program, Triangle Rewards, or WestJet Rewards in accordance with their respective consent records and applicable anti-spam legislation. Each of CTC and WestJet is solely responsible for its own marketing communications. To opt out, contact CTC or WestJet (the organization whose activities you want to opt out from) using the information under “Your privacy rights and choices” below.
33. Cross-border transfers: Your personal information may be transmitted through, or handled in countries, states, or provinces other than your home jurisdiction, in which case the information is bound by the laws of those jurisdictions and may be disclosed in accordance with those laws. We will take measures to protect your personal information with appropriate contract clauses or other applicable safeguards.
34. Your privacy rights and choices: You may obtain access to the information CTC or WestJet holds about you at any time and review its content and accuracy, and request corrections as appropriate; however, access may be restricted as permitted or required by law. To request access to such information, to ask questions about our privacy policies or to request that the information not be used for any purpose, including opt-out, you may do so now or at any time in the future by contacting CTC at 1-866-846-5841 or WestJet at 1-888-937-8538, or using the information provided in the CTC Privacy Charter or WestJet Privacy Policy.
DEFINITIONS
35. “CTC” means Canadian Tire Corporation, Limited.
36. “Canadian Tire Money” or “CT Money” means the electronic rewards currency issued pursuant to the Triangle Rewards Program.
37. “Cardless Method” means the phone number you used when you enrolled in the Triangle Rewards Program when you scan at a compatible point of sale device, your mobile phone, or other mobile device on which you have downloaded the Triangle App.
38. “Credit Card Bonus” means the additional earn rate Linked Members may earn when they pay for WestJet Eligible Purchase with a Triangle credit card or when they pay with a WestJet RBC Mastercard credit card for Eligible Purchases at Participating Stores.
39. “Linked Loyalty Program” means the joint promotions and features offered by CTC and WestJet Linked Members.
40. “Linked Member” means a member of each of the Triangle Rewards Program and the WestJet Rewards Program who has linked (and not subsequently unlinked) their Triangle Rewards Account and WestJet Rewards Account.
41. “Participating Stores” means participating Canadian Tire and Party City retail store locations (both of which are independently owned and operated), SportChek, Mark’s, L’Équipeur, Pro Hockey Life, Sports Rousseau, Hockey Experts, Atmosphere, L’Entrepôt du Hockey and participating Sports Experts locations across Canada (collectively referred to as “Participating Stores”). CTC may add or remove Participating Stores in the Linked Loyalty Program at any time.
42. “Terms” means the Linked Loyalty Program Terms and Conditions.
43. “Triangle Rewards Account” means an account offered and maintained by CTC as part of the Triangle Rewards Program for the purposes of awarding and/or redeeming CT Money.
44. “Triangle Rewards Program” means the Triangle Rewards loyalty program owned and operated by Canadian Tire Corporation, Limited.
45. “Triangle Rewards Terms and Conditions” means the terms and conditions of the Triangle Rewards Program, as amended by CTC from time to time and available here.
46. “We” or “us” means CTC and/or WestJet.
47. “WestJet” means WestJet, an Alberta Partnership and its respective affiliates.
48. “WestJet Rewards Account” means an account offered and maintained by WestJet as part of the WestJet Rewards Program for the purpose of awarding WestJet points.
49. “WestJet Rewards Program” means the WestJet Rewards loyalty program owned and operated by WestJet.50. “WestJet points” means the electronic rewards currency issued pursuant to the WestJet Rewards Program.51. “WestJet Rewards Terms and Conditions” means the terms and conditions of the WestJet Rewards Program, as amended by WestJet from time to time and available at westjet.com/en-ca/rewards/terms-conditions.
52. “You” or “your” means a Triangle Rewards Member and WestJet Rewards Member who link their Triangle Rewards Account and their WestJet Rewards Account.
