Destination Basics

Comox Valley offers a comfortable year-round climate. In the summer (July-August), temperatures tend to linger around 25 °C, while the late fall, winter, and spring often see temperatures hovering between 2 °C and 15 °C. If you’re visiting during these cooler months, be sure to pack your rain gear.

Comox Valley is home to over a dozen small communities including visitor favourites Cumberland, Courtenay, Comox, and Mount Washington.

Cumberland

One of Vancouver Island’s best launching points for outdoor adventure, Cumberland offers an eclectic mix of retail and eateries in its quaint village.

Courtenay

The largest community in Comox Valley, Courtenay boasts a colourful downtown and is home to a variety of locally owned shops along with exquisite culinary and live entertainment experiences.

Mount Washington
