Disney Skyliner - Aerial Gondola at Walt Disney World Resort – Scheduled Maintenance
From January 25, 2026, through January 31, 2026, Disney Skyliner - Aerial Gondola at Walt Disney World Resort, will be closed for maintenance. The Skyliner is the primary mode of transportation for guests at Disney's Riviera Resort to reach both EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios. Other resorts on the line include Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, Disney's Art of Animation Resort and Disney's Pop Century Resort. Guests at Disney's BoardWalk Inn and Villas and Disney's Yacht and Beach Club Resorts can also the system for access to Hollywood Studios.
During the closure, complimentary bus service will be available from each of the Skyliner resorts to the impacted theme parks.

Disney’s Riviera Resort celebrates the grandeur of Europe—which has long inspired some of the greatest Disney stories with its castles and fairy-tale villages. Here, you can create your own great Disney story in the middle of the magic. At the end of each enchanting day, warm and stylish accommodations will welcome you.
After purchasing a ticket, the guest should visit www.StartYourDisneyExperience.com to create a profile (if you do not already have a profile), and, using the confirmation number that WestJet Vacations will provide, link the ticket to the profile and then make park reservations.

We took the kids to Disney’s Riviera Resort during spring break and had a wonderful time. The resort is a relatively new addition to the list of hotels at Walt Disney World. Though small compared to other ...Vacation Club properties, it offers a welcoming and elegant charm. The resort's design is Inspired by the French Riviera and provides a fairly classic and magical experience for all family members. The resort is located in the Epcot area and features a Skyliner station that provides easy access to Epcot and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Initially, my husband had booked a smaller deluxe studio, but believe it or not, to our surprise, we were chosen to get upgraded to a comfortable one-bedroom villa. Ok, arrival, the cast member who assisted us and delivered our bags told us it was one of the resort’s premier rooms. What an excellent way to start a vacation! Thank you, Disney! As soon as we entered the one-bedroom villa, we were welcomed by an open floor plan and spacious room with a separate living room and kitchen, not unlike the more closed and segmented floor plan at Animal Kingdom Lodge Villas, where we stayed last time. The room features French-inspired furnishing and décor, offering an inviting and warm atmosphere for comfort and unwinding after a long day in the parks. Overall, we had a memorial stay at Riviera Resort, and we would highly recommend it for families with children.
Beautiful Deluxe Resort

We loved our stay here. We were in a deluxe studio preferred view and it was wonderful, room 8830. Rooms were clean, quiet, and spacious. There was also a little fridge and microwave for you to use. Th...e best perk about this room is the two showers. One big stand up shower and one was a tub/shower. Also ,another great perk is the skyline and the access to late night at the parks. Would stay again.
