Guests arriving into Belize City (BZE) will be transferred via an inter-island flight to the regional airport of San Pedro, Ambergris Caye (SPR). Regional Aircraft type will vary between 3- and 14-seat configurations; baggage restrictions and applicable fees may apply. Upon arriving in San Pedro you will be escorted to the Margaritaville Welcome Center prior to boarding your boat or shuttle transfer to the resort (35-55 mins).

Beautiful Resort - wonderful staff

The resort is non-inclusive. if that is what you are looking for look elsewhere. The resort is on the northern tip of San Pedro Island so it is quite a drive (1 hr by golf cart) or boat ride (approx 25minu...tes). We went because we wanted to try multiple bars/grills along the way and experience the culture of Belize. Without fail, the staff and locals were wonderful to be with, had great conversations and more than a few unique drinks. Food was great - don’t be afraid to try something different. If you want to get around on your own a golf cart rental is a must. Otherwise, the resort has boat rides to San Pedro on scheduled times. The golf cart gives you an ability to stop at mid-points between the city and the resort. There are limited utensils for cooking but it is doable for preparing some of your own meals if that is what you wish. We had problems with connecting the TV for streaming in the evening but honestly we didn’t really need it. If you use a cell or iPad you can get by. The Wi-Fi is good. Lots of excursion options both with the resort with majority through outside groups. Options, just look around. Pools are adequate for the size of the resort. Again, the staff was wonderful and responded to our requests almost immediately. Enjoy!

We spent the day at the pool and had a blast! Jerry made us amazing drinks! The swim up pool bar is fabulous! We had a terrific lunch right off the beach - the guacamole with chips and fresh grilled shrimp... was so delicious!! We split panades, burger, and fried tacos - looked like rolled tacos - SO good!! Orley was our server and he was great! The chef made our friend a delicious chocolate cake for her birthday! Jose was at the front desk to help check us in and was super nice! We took a water taxi there and back - which was fantastic! Definitely recommend!!
