In the grand scheme of things, it’s just a hotel. Calling it a resort is a stretch. For the price I could go to an all inclusive in Mexico or the Caribbean. Even with our discounted rate, because we were h...ere for a conference, $2400 for 4 nights is too much. For that price we got free water, a free bike rental and lounge chairs on the beach. Every meal onsite was $100 plus, the wait and bar staff were attentive but now we’re up to over $3000 for 4 nights. I could get a much cheaper rate and buy water, rent a bike and lounge chair and still be way ahead. In the $3000 price range you could be in the DR at an all inclusive drinking, eating, dancing the day and night away. With a private roof top pool, private cabanas, no kids or drunks on the street until 3am. And no nudists/swingers resort across the street, yes really. Sadly none of them were worth looking at. Considering we were there for St Patrick’s Day I would have expected something to be going on, but the sidewalks were pretty much rolled up by 10pm. Margaritaville had entertainment on Sat and Sun but nothing on Monday night. At the end of the day everything was clean, the staff were great, the food and drinks were average. It’s a nice hotel, but it’s not a resort. If you’re spending the money go to an all inclusive. You’ll be happier.

Very clean hotel inside and out. Great selection of restaurants within the hotel and within walking distance. The boardwalk is a very nice touch. Associates are very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed a most... relaxing time and plan to return very soon!
