There is merit to some of the negative reviews but how it effects your vacation will depend on your attitude. We had an amazing time. You could easily spot those guests with high expectations that just wan...t to complain about everything. You are on a beautiful island, relax and enjoy it. Dont waste time with pre check in. Mine never worked and it was fine. Room wasnt ready when we arrived but I pre picked 15306 so I didnt mind waiting. They took us to Nibbles to eat while we waited. Room location and view was amazing. I didnt think diamond club was worth the price and we had a great time without it. We are the type that wake up late and get to beach around 10. We never had a issue getting chairs. Yes, they ran out of various items daily but to us it wasnt a huge deal. We got reservations at all 3 restaurants with no issue. Just keep checking the app. I wouldnt say any of them were great but it was nice to not be at the buffet. Buffet was much better for us especially since we had a 10 and 6 yr old. Yes, some days you had to wait a few minutes for a table but never that long. We found the staff to be friendly and helpful. Some were shy but once we said hello they were engaging. I think some are just shy. I will say some guests can be quite rude and I can see why some probably stay quiet. Highly recommend Dave's tours to explore the island. The horseback riding at Grand Ande was definitely not worth the money. Eco dive was great for snorkeling. We walked to the Aquarium restaurant at end of beach. Food was great and kids loved climbing on the rocks. We would definitely stay again.

This was my second visit to this property this year—I first came in January for a site inspection, then returned in March for five days with a team from my job. We had an extraordinary experience. The staf...f was outstanding in meeting all our needs, from the booking events manager to the catering managers—everyone went above and beyond to make our trip a success. I’m truly grateful and incredibly impressed by the level of professionalism and care.
