Royal Sea Cliff Kona is an OUTSTANDING resort. FIVE STARS

Royal Sea Cliff Kona is an OUTSTANDING resort. FIVE STARS. Very safe and clean. We traveled with four adults, and having two big bedrooms and two bathrooms and living room, and full-size kitchen with ful...l size stove- plenty of pots- pans- plates- additional corning ware. Plus, three available outdoor gas grills to grill as we choose. Terrific facility staff at desk- plus very helpful maintenance staff. No additional fees for parking was a plus. Plenty of secure underground parking on site. Fifth floor deck had outstanding views of Pacific Ocean & Hawaiian Sunsets to west, and seeing pleasure boats, dolphins, birds beautiful, manicured landscaping on site. We shopped at nearby Safeway and was able to rent cooler at nearby Boss Frog's for packing to go lunches for activities on Hawaii Big Island.
Met our needs but next time I prefer staying someplace newer/nicer.

We stayed at Royal Sea Cliff Kona by Outrigger last week of March before all the Spring Break crowds began showing up. It was pleasant and met our family's needs. Beds were decent enough. We really only we...re in the condo unit for sleeping, eating and bathing. The rest of our time was spend touring the island and hanging with family at other locations. The pools were nice as it was hot and humid and swimming in the pool to cool off was nice. Towards the end of the week the place began filling up with Spring Break vacationer's and the pools got crowded then. The proximity to the downtown area of Kona was within two miles car ride. A nice bike ride or if really wanting to put in the exercise and effort a goodly walk! The hotel itself is dated and used hard by all the vacationers through the years, but it met our needs overall as we had nearby family in a vacation home that was within a 5 minute walking distance from us.
