Wonderfully unique resort!

Anse chastanet really is a wonderfully unique resort to celebrate our anniversary! We loved our room with beautiful views of the Pitons and the natural setting with birds visiting daily. The beaches were ...both beautiful; Anse Chastanet beach has more people, but you get special perks like 'love and happiness' spritzes, popsicles, fruit kabobs. Mamin is quieter, with a deserted island vibe. The off-shore snorkeling was fabulous! We snorkeled every day for a few hours between the two beaches and saw sooo many different species of fish (the flying gurnards were very entertaining), turtles and eels, Food and drinks were delicious at all the restaurants and the beach bar. The fresh catch of the day, ceviche, curry and guava sorbet are some favorites. The salads are not to be missed as all the ingredients are grown on-site and are so fresh and flavorful. Ginger margaritas - the best! We never left the resort for excursions, but loved the bird walk with Father Nature, Art class - Sakey style, and the intro to chocolate tasting. We were on the fence about doing the resort orientation, but were very glad we did...Peter provided good info and resort history, with some humor sprinkled in. The evening entertainment was a great way to end the day... the hostess and bartender were upbeat and engaging. All the resort staff we very friendly and helpful. Dont miss out on meeting Sunshine Biscuit, a St. Lucian wood carving artist that has been selling his art for decades on the beach. We got to chatting with him our first day, and then several more days, and asked him to make a snorkeling theme wood carving for us. We love it and the coconut bowl we also bought. We were upgraded to Jade Mountain for the last two nights, which was a wonderful surprise! We really enjoyed the open air room, the spectacular views up-top and the food was amazing! We cannot wait to go back! There are so many other places I want to visit in the world, but know we will be back to Anse Chastanet in the very near future!
Anse Chastanet: Paradise on Earth

This was our second trip to Anse Chastanet and we hope there will be a third. The beaches there are gorgeous— there are two of them, each framed by picturesque rock formations. We found plenty of beach a...ctivities, took in several boat rides of the shoreline, and just read under the ample palapas. The food was remarkably delicious and the service staff was friendly and spot on. Yet we never had the feeling of being at a sprawling resort, this resort remains right-sized. Our “cabin” was comfortable and naturalistic with a large open veranda and gorgeous views. We enjoyed the birds that came to visit and woke us up in the am with their delightful songs. We even liked climbing the roughly 250 steps from the beach to our cabin— plenty of views to take in along the way. Overall, we highly recommend.
