The food at oceana restaurant is fantastic. Antonio was our waiter and he was great. All staff were very helpful including allergy restrictions. Epifanio, Guadalupe, Antonio, Pedro, Angel, Sergio, Dani...el, Goncola and Samuel did a fantastic job and we really enjoyed our meal.
This was our 10th trip to Dreams Huatulco! Safe and Relaxing!

From the moment you arrive at Dreams Huatulco you are treated like royalty. Cold washcloths, drinks and smiles are provided immediately. The room is immaculate, the bed is comfortable, and there are plen...ty of towels and washcloths. There is a safe provided in your room along with a small refrigerator stocked with drinks daily and a coffee maker. Housekeeping takes care of your room every day and Edith was wonderful! You are able to swim in the ocean, but the beach is a little hard to manage. It’s a little difficult to walk on. We spend our time at the pool because that is what we prefer. There are several pools and plenty of chairs, towels and umbrellas. Drink service is provided at the pool if you don’t want to walk to the bar yourself to get a drink. The wonderful people that took care of us were Ramaldo, Primi, Euphronisia, Chrissino, Elvis, Armando and Jail. The pool is clean and the temperature is always perfect in the always sunny 90 degree weather. Bathrooms are conveniently located nearby. There are at least three restaurants open every night so it’s easy to find something to eat. You also do not need reservations in the evening. It is first come first serve. There is 24 hour room service and it is spectacular if you prefer to eat in your room. The breakfast and lunch are also amazing with plenty of options. I am gluten and dairy intolerant and they went out of their way to help me with what I was able to eat. The waiters and waitresses are amazing! I wish I could tell you all of their names, but the outstanding staff that served us with the best service possible were Carmello, Jamie, Olivia, Deni, Cecilia and Brenda. They are all top notch! Dreams is laid back and not a party resort, which is what we prefer. Great entertainment is provided. Pickleball, chess, archery, yoga, fire shows and evening music are some of the activities. The massages in the spa were also great, thank you Suzanne! Groundskeeper Arturo answered many of our questions and was a joy! Every employee is helpful and happy! This was our 10th trip to Dreams Huatulco. Most of the employees have been here since we started coming. It is the staff and weather that keeps us coming back! A special shout out to Carmelo at The World Cafe who has been our waiter for ten years and goes above and beyond to provide excellent service! He remembers us every year and has our coffee, mint tea, hard boiled eggs and orange juice on our table before we are even sat! He is extraordinary and we adore him! He is one of the reasons we keep coming back! You will not be disappointed at Dreams Huatulco!
