Great location with modern amenities

Todnick (Boston, Massachusetts) on Nov 18, 2024

When we arrived we were greeted by a cast member in the lobby. She made sure that our magic bands were linked and then took us on a brief tour of the hotel. Despite being the first hotel built on the property, it’s very modern with clean lines and open spaces throughout. We were early but our room was ready within 10 minutes. We stayed on the 14th floor in a Club Level one-bedroom suite. The room was enormous with a large living and dining space. There was a small kitchen area with a refrigerator and microwave. The bedroom had two queen beds with ample storage space and a large bathroom. There was a second full bathroom off the foyer as you walked in. The balcony ran the length of the room and was nicely furnished. We had a perfect view of the Magic Kingdom and could watch the fireworks every night. The lounge was directly up the hall and they were constantly serving food and beverages. It was very convenient. There are several restaurants in the hotel. You can also catch the monorail on the 4th floor to go up to MK or one of the other resorts en route. The food at the restaurant is good but not great. But it’s definitely passable and very convenient right in the hotel. There are also some cool shops where you can get Disney-licensed merchandise. Some people have mentioned that the Disney theming is lacking and I’d agree with that, but that didn’t bother us in the least. The look was modern and sleek and definitely felt “contemporary.” Overall we really enjoyed our stay here and would stay again for the prime location, proximity to the monorail and buses, along with great service and a terrific suite that gave the three of us plenty of space and privacy.

Never again! Old dingy Motel 6!

TravelGirl4228 (Warwick, New York) on Nov 14, 2024

Stayed 2 nights. Where to begin..Well let's see. Pulled up to check-in. Valet was extremely rude especially when I told him I was self parking. The girl at bell serives was clueless. I asked her if there was a separate parking lot for the Garden Wing. She had no clue. I said well get someone who does because I am not walking all that way if there is. Garden Wing looks like a cheap Motel 6. Old and dingy on the outside. Incredibles rooms are drab, dull, boring and small. We were on the 3rd floor and still could not see the light parade on the water because of all of the trees. I guess they only cater to the filthy rich. The food at the Contempo Cafe was aweful and cold. Would not refund or give me a new meal. The monorail is disgusting and looks like it is never cleaned. For the outrageous, ridiculous amount of money you charge, shame on you! Shame on Disney.
