I just recently returned from my 2nd visit to this hotel & hope to visit it again! Right from the start of this visit Jose at the check in counter made me feel as if I was visiting friends in a gorgeous house as he remembered both my first & surname from my last visit & which building I stayed at, #8. Unfortunately he couldn’t accommodate me there this visit but registered me in a very nice building #4 room, where the maid, Marlees, provided excellent housekeeping in a lovely manner, always keeping supplies plentiful… my only regret with this room was its view compared to my last visit, but it was still lovely! All the staff were so charming & accommodating & the bar staffs in particular made things so fun & welcoming! The beach is great & the beach bar has great staff & entertainment & food. The pools are fantastic, cleanliness superb, activity coordinator so helpful, musical entertainment awesome… I have to say the management of this hotel is doing a fine job. The food was good.. not a lot of variety but understandable as Cuba has been going through some rough times, I never went hungry & enjoyed what I had! I highly recommend a visit to this hotel to those who haven’t & I look forward to visiting it again!

Absolutely amazing 4th stay at Playa Vista Azul. This is our second time in 2024 at this resort. This time, we stayed at the Premium Section with our 3 kiddos and we really had the best experience (Nov 14/24). My husband and I have travelled all over Cuba and the Carribean and I can honestly say, we have never returned to the same place twice, let alone 4 times. But this has become our home away from home and we are looking forward to coming back in 2025. The staff are absolutely amazing. So welcoming, kind and always go out of their way, trying to make your stay as pleasant as possible. We arrived before Hurricane Sara (which luckily bypassed Cuba) and did not experience any power outages, AC issues, food shortages etc. Our fridge was always stocked with sealed water bottles, beer and soda. The Coral restaurant had the best breakfast and lunch. We had powdered eggs 1 day only and we arrived very late to breakfast. All other days, no shortages of anything. The ladies at The Coral Restaurant were wonderful with our kids and always had a table for 5 ready for us, which was not necessary but very much appreciated. Katia , in particular, was very professional and a pleasure to talk to. We enjoyed all of the a la carte restaurants at night. The return customer dinner was very nice and Thalia was a delight. We have to give a very special thank you to Letsa (customer service) and Arasay (Premium section) for making this an incredible stay. We were always greeted with a heartfelt smile and these ladies truly do go above and beyond to ensure their guests are happy. The butlers were all great but Yuri really stood out and always went the extra mile. We can't forget about our favorite entertainment crew, Odette and Carmen (kids club) in particular. Thank you ladies for all that you do, your efforts do not go unnoticed or unappreciated. Overall, great stay, will be back for sure in 2025 to visit our second home and Cuban family. If you are travelling and have some extra room in your luggage, anything and everything is helpful and much appreciated by the Cuban people: medicines; bandaids/first aid; toiletries; rechargeable lamps/ flash lights; chocolates; used clothing/shoes; coloring books for children/ color pencils; balls (Baseball/glove; soccer; volleyball etc). I just came back from Playa Vista Azul for the second time and decided I owe it to all the amazing staff to leave a review. I apologize for forgetting names in advance, but I want to give a special thanks to everyone who made our trip so great. There were 2 young men at the front desk working nights that were extremely helpful. One of them spoke fluent English and Russian and another remembered me from 2 years ago which was very nice. Everyone at the lobby bar was so great especially my hermano with the slick haircut. The female server who worked the lunch buffet outside on the patio at the far end made me laugh every day and always kept our drinks filled. Thalia brought us to the party off the resort and she was so sweet with the most infectious, positive personality. It was also a very nice touch to be invited to a special dinner for coming back a second time. My only regret was not upgrading to get access to the premium lounge but it didn't affect my trip negatively at all. Made more friends for life and had a fantastic time. Salute!

The front desk service at the hotel was excelent! Amelys and Susel were very helpfull, we were welcomed in a friendly way, with a smile. We couldn't be more happy with it and felt immediately at home. Thank you very much!! We will certainly come back.

Like to thank all my new friends at Playa Vista Azul They keep me busy from morning till night. Aquabic at beach pool..white party Friday night these people work hard and deserve a big hello CHOCO became my new friend at Playa Vista. Can't wait for my 10th return to see my friends and family. If you get a chance visit this amazing resort Just did my wedding here these people were there to cheer us on. This resort is lucky to have amazing entertainer.
