Find A Different Resort

Please save your money and book elsewhere. This resort charges for incidentals that they claim will be returned to you at the end of your stay. At the end of our trip, an incidentals charge of over 500 dollars was not returned to the used card. When calling the resort to inquire about charges, the front desk staff was virtually useless, claiming, "[they] usually just tell people to contact their bank when this happens, there's not much else [they] can do." Not a single employee could explain each individual charge that was a part of incidentals, nor could they send an itemized receipt of it. Only when their accounts receivable department decided to contest the bank claim they suggested we pursue, did we receive a vague statement of said charges on paper. It is still unclear as to why this was not made available upon our first request. The stay here was mediocre at best, and the inconvenience of this whole situation only added to the subpar experience. Spend your money elsewhere.
Be Careful! Double Charges!

The hotel has beautiful views. The lobby is nice. Parking is convenient. The location is a 10 min drive to Palm Springs. The bellman was lovely. They gave us warm cookies at check in. At check-in, I was told there would be a resort fee. I explained that I already paid for it through booking.com. He said there was no notes. I still explained that I paid for it. I was about to show him a picture of my booking.com receipt but then he said he’d waive it. It was awkward because do I have to thank you for waving something that I actually indeed paid for and so it technically wasn’t waived. But whatever I was just happy to have a cookie so I said thank you. The room looked nice except for the popcorn ceiling. Unfortunately the bed was uncomfortable, and the tub was disgusting. The view was stunning! The rooms have a balcony and the pool looked lovely although we didn’t use it… The hotel sent me receipts and they indeed charged me a resort fee… Again. So I have now paid for it twice. There’s also a $50 charge looming but I’m sure it’s just the mandatory hold thing. I will have to spend my lunch at work calling and dealing with this. I would highly suggest saving your time, and choosing another hotel.
Service lacking and room refresh In desperate need

Terrible service. Room not serviced. No clean towels. Used pool towels. Room outdated and not very clean. Terrible conditions here for the price. Food and beverage options limited. Stay elsewhere. View was saving grace. Pool nice. Bar selections good but prices high. Diamond member so very disappointed. Food and beverage credit eaten up with one breakfast. Not worth the stay. Not Hilton for the stay here!

My wife and I have had the most amazing experience here so far. I booked us 2 x nights after a few nights in Vegas and the service we have received so far has been nothing short of amazing. We were greeted with a warm smile by the hotel reception attendant (Ulysses) who was literally the most cheerful, helpful, and polite gentleman we've had the pleasure of dealing with in any hotel we've stayed at (and we travel a lot). He explained everything to us in great detail, showed us how things worked and gave us each a nice, warm doubletree cookie. The golf course is also awesome. We'll be back here again for sure. Thank you Ulysses for helping us and making us feel at home. You're exactly the type of person a reputable hotel like this needs working at the front!
Older, dirty and so so customer service

Not sure if this hotel has just recently gone downhill but was very disappointed from the time we walked in. The hotel had sent us an email asking if we wanted to pay a little extra to see if we could get an early check in. When we arrived early just to check, the front desk guy literally laughed and said we have 250 rooms checking out today and was very rude. Front sofas when you walk in outside are dirty with pillows laying all over. We got a suite and the room bathrooms had one hand towel and one bath towel between the 2 of them. There was no regular coffee in the room, only decaf. The pool was milky dirty, area around pool was not picked up, we found eyelashes laying around and bandaids - gross. Chargers in room didnt work. Bartender at main bar was on her phone most of the time without engaging with guests. Just overall lack of good customer service. My husband and I were expecting much better from what we spent and used some of our points on. I realize its off season but guests that come during this time expect the same standards in customer service and luxury. Will not be returning.
