Japan Fuel Surcharge

Tickets issued: on/after February 1, 2024, the following one-way fuel surcharge will be applied to the price of the ticket

Japan – Canada - 43,600 JPY

Canada – Japan – 374.00 CAD

The fuel surcharge is applicable for adults, children and infants with seats.

The fuel surcharge does not apply to infants without seats.

Fuel surcharge revision

The fuel surcharge will be reviewed every two months for flights from/to Japan based on the average Singapore Kerosene-type jet fuel pricing in USD converted to Japanese Yen using the two-month average of the daily exchange rate set by the Bank of Japan.

If the trailing two-calendar-month average of Singapore Kerosene-type jet fuel price is above JPY6,000 per barrel, WestJet will apply the fuel surcharge.
