Love Cozumel but Secrets

We are returning again to Cozumel after 13 trips our second at Secrets. Disappointed in the food quality especially Windows Restaurant . We weren’t even asked if we wanted a drink and had to ask for water. The beach is beautiful but unable to get into the water due to the rocky shoreline. The buffet was great and a shout out to Eugenia our server . The preferred club pool is party central for older adults but I was glad to see they were checking if you were part of the preferred club . Armando at the preferred club bar was amazing and remembered us from our last visit. Giovanni at the preferred club bar always friendly and smiling. I have saved the best for last the sales for time share the WORST experience ever!! Offer you the world to listen and then …. Unless you are truly interested do not attend . They are ruthless and rude. We were left to walk home after the presentation. We never received what was promised and it was all a lie with a bottom line of money. Don’t let it ruin your vacation. Would I go back? We will give it a year and avoid those sales reps.

This property is clearly showing signs of wear. Its layout isn’t great but parts of the resort are nearly falling apart (ladies room faucet almost completely dislodged). The map they give you is not legible or understandable since it is a paper copy that has been faded over the years. There really was nothing we enjoyed at this resort. We had a decent meal at th Asian restaurant but that was about it. At breakfast I asked if my dish had cheese - was told no, but yet it came out with cheese. Run down. Old. Not our type of vacation.
