Lovely hotel close to all that matters. Allows easy access to the old port and the bridge and all the colorful surrounds. It’s the only luxury hotel option in this location if planning be inside Willemstad. The swimming pool setting was beautiful with its beautiful Infiniti pool overseeing the ocean and the cruise terminal. The people were also very caring and helpful … something to note and remember. They would make sure to guarantee a wonderful stay.

Renaissance is a great choice if you’re looking for a Marriott property in a great location with a fake beach. This was my second stay. The bathroom is showing little ware and tear but nothing significant. All the best beaches are 30-40 min away so I like staying at a hotel closer to shops and restaurants. There is a man made beach with seawater and also a smaller chlorine pool here. The morning buffet is $28 but offered complimentary with my titanium status. The oceanfront rooms are unobstructed and gives view of the cruise ships when they pull into port. The only thing I didn’t care for was the spot lights being on all night outside the 5 OClock Somewhere bar outside my room and the loud music blaring late into night Fri-Sun. Free garage parking is included in resort fee.
