Staff stand out at this gorgeous location in Huatulco!

Secrets in Huatulco was absolutely amazing, from the restaurant to the location in a gorgeous oasis. Most notably, a few staff members made our experience as good as it was and should be looked out for on your next stay: Alejandro and Abraham of the entertainment team were fantastic due to their consistent drive to involve us in the activities as well as get to know us personally, and were the highlight of our stay. Both of them were incredibly genuine individuals and recognized us after a single day of participation in the games they ran so flawlessly. Wilfredo and Hector at the swim up bar and the Barefoot Grill respectively both were incredibly knowledgeable about drinks as well as effective in serving us quickly while making connections. Nathaly at the Market Cafe was an excellent hostess, and remembered our names after the first few days which was amazing in making us feel welcome Finally, Julian was the best server both at the Fire Show and at Castaways Grill, and his outgoing nature made us feel at home beside his incredible work ethic. While the amenities and scenery were gorgeous, the staff were the shining star of this all inclusive in a beautiful city, and we hope they can be recognized for the incredible hospitality we received at this resort!

We stayed at Secrets for our anniversary and had a great time! A special shout out to the amazing staff that made our trip a memorable one. Marco the bell man always had us laughing and was so helpful, Mardonio at the lobby bar made the best drinks and we kept going back to him, Marla the spa rep was so sweet and so helpful, Eva at the bar beside the Barefoot Grill always made sure our cups were full at the pool and Isaul at the swim up bar would stop and chat to us everytime he would run into us around the resort, great guy! The spa was a great experience and well worth the money for the couples massages, the view of the pools and ocean was incredible from all around the resort, the rooms were very clean and beds were super comfortable. The food was okay but not what we had anticipated for a highly rated hotel. Room service was hit and miss for quality and not one restaurant was "amazing" food. We did enjoy the buffet and Spice restaurant (which also had great service!). Overall a very enjoyable vacation but unsure if we would visit again.
