I am going to be brutally honest. I wish someone had done this before me so that I could have avoided this resort. Note: This is far from a 5-star resort!! If you are a traveler with medium to high standards do NOT stay here. If you are simply looking for a value resort in Jamaica, then this review holds no relevance for you. For those with expectations and reasonable resources this is not the place for you!!! I would equate this property to flying on Spirit airlines. You will get what you pay for and be surrounded by travelers with the same caliber of standards/social etiquette. Needless to say, I do NOT recommend. The food is barley edible. The rooms are dated, dirty, damaged, and smelly. The outside of the property and grounds are below average, but better than the interior areas. The pool area was fine, it needed to be cleaned and the stone work was is rough shape, but you could at least enjoy the beautiful weather there. (if you could deal with the smoking and awful music coming from other guest’s phones while they shoot social media videos) The staff at this resort were below average. During our stay there were many employees and locals staying at the resort as guests/on a day pass, which in the past has never been an issue. This was different, the majority of the time the working employees were interacting with the nonworking employees. Again, fine except on multiple occasions we had no place to sit as all the tables in the restaurant were dirty. Sounds minor, except it wasn’t. We sat waiting for service constantly because socializing took priority. We didn’t die, but we won’t ever return!

The hotel is very clean and the staff is super friendly. The food is great and we especially enjoyed the Jamaican buffet on the beach. They have fun pool games in the mid morning and late afternoon plus entertainment most nights. Cooky, Fynes, KK and Leg&Thigh made our trip extra fun and memorable!
