Staff was amazing. Amenities were great. Entertainment was awesome. The food and food choices were great. Red Lane spa was amazing. We had a couple massage and it was the best massage we've ever experienced. The pools were awesome and clean. Highly recommend!
Luxury Destination Wedding?

Upon arrival at Sandals Ochi, one is enticed by the promise of luxury that the resort advertises. Nestled in a beautiful location, the resort has the potential to offer a lavish retreat. However, the reality falls short of expectations. The term 'luxury' is often associated with modern and elegance, yet the property feels outdated, with amenities and decor that seem to have been neglected rather than maintained or upgraded. This disconnect between the marketed image and the actual experience led to disappointment for us and our guests seeking a contemporary and upscale vacation. Furthermore, the services provided by the wedding planner, Shakira, presented with annoyances, did not align with the capabilities of the property. The gap between what is promised and what is deliverable is significant, which was particularly disconcerting. During the stay, Donovan and Akeem Butler demonstrated commendable efforts to provide exceptional service. Despite their dedication, they encountered multiple service failures throughout the property, which were beyond their control. These issues significantly impacted my overall experience, pointing to the need for the resort to address systemic problems that hinder its staff's ability to deliver. In the midst of the challenges faced, on site wedding planners Crisan and Santiena's extraordinary efforts to salvage the wedding experience deserve special recognition. Their dedication and resourcefulness were instrumental in navigating the unforeseen difficulties, ensuring that the celebration still be a joyous and memorable occasion. In essence, Sandals Ochi must address these discrepancies to ensure that the experience aligns with the high standards that guests anticipate based on the resort's marketing. Until then, the resort may not live up to the 'luxury' it promises.
