Disney Swan Reserve vs Swan resort
SunilnRiss (Reisterstown, Maryland) on May 09, 2024
Swan Reserve was a beutiful Disney partner resort. My family and I checked in pretty late, but had the nicest front desk lady that I unfortunagely can't remember the name of. My family and I were a group of 6 and we stayed in a 1 bedroom suite with two beds, one pull-out couch, one full bath, a half bath, with a living and dining area. The room had a total of 3 televisions to satisfy my family and I's different entertainment preferences. The bed was very firm but not too firm to the point of uncomfortability. The room had a view of the pool, however we didn't get to swim in it since it was a quick trip. My son and I went to the resort's bar for drinks which were very pricy but that came as no suprise to me. The bar was pretty rowdy because there was a wedding at the resort but that did not spoil the trip or our resort stay. Overall, the Disney Swan Reserve was a very good stay and I recommend it to any family looking for a non-Disney themed hotel.
Epcot Area Hotel

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel for our Disney trip. We weren't travelling with young kids so we appreciated that this Disney hotel was more 'business' than the standard 'Disney' hotel. Our plan was to go to the parks first thing and stay until the parks closed. To that end, this hotel is well situated for both Epcot and Hollywood Studios. Check-in was quick and all the benefits of staying at a Disney property were explained. The room was quiet, comfortable, and we were fortunate to be able to see the Epcot fireworks on the first night from our room. To go to the parks, there is a short walk to the boat that takes you to either Epcot or Hollywood Studios - the buses to Animal Kingdom and Magic Kingdom load at the covered walkway at the hotel. On the last day, the hotel allowed us a late check-out, even though they didn't have to, so we were able to spend a little more time at Epcot before our flight. It was greatly appreciated. We would not hesitate to stay here again.
