Bad experience all the way around

Air conditioning didn’t work, ceiling fan was broken and our room keys didn’t work. Finally the next day they changed our rooms. Much better we had air conditioning and the ceiling fan worked. During our stay we started to dinner and went to the safe to get some money to tip our waitstaff to find that our cash was missing. We had over $500 US dollars taken from my purse which had been locked in the hotel safe between the 2 rooms since we arrived. We contacted the front desk and they got us to security where we filled out paperwork about the money being taken and security came back to our room to read the safe and we were told that they couldn’t get a reading on the safe and that someone from security would contact us the next day to make arrangements to meet us back in our room to read the safe again and this NEVER happened. We went back to security several times to find out what was happening and we were told they were investigating it. Finally the day we were checking out we went back to security and waited for someone to talk to us to be told that we were the only people that had been in the safe. Our question was how did they know that when they NEVER came back to read the safe for the second time. So we were just out of luck. I feel that the moment we stepped on the shuttle headed to the airport all of the paperwork we filled out was thrown into the trash. Good riddance
