Absolutely amazing resort!

Secrets royal beach is an absolute dream! The grounds are beautiful from the pools, rooms, lounges, all the social areas and dining areas. It’s all done beautifully. My husband and I took this trip just the two of us as first timers and it did not disappoint. The staff blew us away. They are so kind and always greeting you with such smiles and kindness. They are willing to go above and beyond for you for all your needs. We upgraded to preferred at checkin. This feature is so luxurious. We were given Rihanna as our concierge for the week. What an amazing person she is. She was always checking in on us, making sure we had everything we needed and going the extra for us. She surprised us and put rose petals in our room one night while we were at the beach. It was such a sweet gesture. She arranged our cabana rental, had breakfast and mimosas delivered to our room the morning of our excursion and so many more little details to make our trip absolutely perfect! We will definitely be coming back and asking for her personally. The food at this resort was wonderful! We didn’t have one bad meal. We enjoyed everything we had. You can tell the chefs take pride in their work and it shows in their dishes. We are foodies and thoroughly enjoyed our meals..This resort is an absolute dream and we are so grateful we were able to spend an entire week relaxing here! Thank you secrets for such an amazing time! We will be back!!

When we arrived, Luis, the assigned butler escorted us to eat, committing to return in 30 minutes. After waiting for 45 minutes for his return, we returned to the preferred club lounge and spoke to three different representatives, requesting the key and directions to our room. It took about another 45 minutes for Luis to arrive and escort us to the room. We saw Luis once again when we went to grab a drink at our preferred club. The television flicked every three to five seconds during our entire stay at the resort. We reached out to Luis so a few occasions regarding the flickering television, an extremely hard sofa pillow rather than a bed pillow, dinner reservations, room cleaning and cleaning the jacuzzi. Although he was quick to respond via text, he failed to double check or circle back with staff to ensure that our requests were successfully executed and completed. Housekeeping’s failure to clean the room on a consistent schedule or window of time in the mornings and evenings. Housekeeping would come in the afternoons, between 1:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. for their morning cleaning and late evenings, after 8: 00 p.m. for the turn-down service.
