Parental leave
Have you recently expanded your family or are expecting to? If you have lost or are at risk of losing your Silver, Gold or Platinum tier status due to a reduction in travel resulting from a parental leave, you may request a reinstatement or extension of your tier status and benefits when you return to work.
Upon your return from leave, complete the form below and include the following two documents:
- A copy of your child’s birth certificate or documentation confirming the date of adoption or fostering placement; and
- A letter from your employer confirming the start date and end dates of your parental leave period.
Once approved, your tier status will be reinstated or extended for the remainder of the current year and the next qualifying year, giving you the opportunity to immediately enjoy your benefits as soon as you return to travelling, and having a full 12 months to requalify in the second year.
