You can reset your password, or retrieve your WestJet Rewards ID, by clicking on Forgot ID or password on the account overview page.

If you continue to experience issues accessing your account it may be that your email address is linked to multiple accounts (i.e. one address used for several members of the same family, or you have more than one account). Please re-attempt to sign in using your 9-digit WestJet Rewards ID and password instead. Your Rewards ID can be found in most WestJet email communications sent to you.

Travel for two is twice as nice. To use a companion voucher you must purchase one WestJet-marketed and operated flight and the second guest on the same itinerary will pay a reduced amount (or no charge) for the base fare, depending on the type of voucher and destination, plus taxes, fees and other Air Transportation Charges.

How to book with a WestJet companion voucher:

1. Sign in to your WestJet Rewards account.
2. Select “Use companion voucher”.
3. Search for your flights by indicating your origin and destination, travel dates and number of guests (minimum two)
4. Select the companion voucher you’d like to use and apply it to your booking. 
5. Choose your flight times and fares for each of your flights.
6. Enter the travel details for you and your companion.
7. At your payment summary, confirm that your companion voucher was redeemed.
8. Pay your remaining balance with WestJet dollars, Travel Bank credits, WestJet gift card or credit card.

IMPORTANT: you can only use two forms of payment in addition to your companion voucher. See the below for step-by-step guides on how to pay with your preferred forms of payment.

Your WestJet Travel Bank is an easy-to-use account where you accumulate and save credit from non-refundable ticket changes, cancellations or service credits.

How to use your Travel Bank credit:

1. Sign in to your WestJet Rewards account.
2. Select your flights and continue to the payment step.
3. Your Travel Bank balance will appear with the option to apply the credit to your purchase.
4. Choose to apply all, or a portion of your Travel Bank balance toward the cost of your flights. Any remaining costs can be paid with a credit card.

With WestJet dollars, the choice is yours. Use your WestJet dollars to pay for flights or vacation packages. Redeem as few (starting with the minimum) or as many as you want on the base fare portion of our Economy, Premium or Business fares, or pay the full base fare with WestJet dollars when you choose a Member Exclusive fare. Travel on any date, with no blackouts – it’s that easy.

Things to know:

• You must use a minimum of 15 WestJet dollars per guest, per direction on the base fare for flights or 100% of the base fare for each guest for Member Exclusive fares.
• WestJet dollars cannot be applied against taxes, fees or charges.
• Exception: WestJet dollars refunded by WestJet Vacations on or after March 19, 2020 due to COVID-19 can be applied toward taxes and fees on a future vacation package booking.
   

How to redeem your WestJet dollars towards a flight or WestJet Vacations package:

1. Sign in to your WestJet Rewards account.
2. Search for and select your flights or package.
3. Continue to the payment step.
4. Your WestJet dollar balance will appear with the option to apply them to your purchase.
5. Choose the quantity of WestJet dollars you want to apply and pay for any remaining balance with your credit card.

Here are few things to know about gift cards:

• You can only use one WestJet gift card per booking
• You can use your WestJet gift card to pay for everything, including taxes and fees
• At this time, you cannot use your WestJet gift card and Travel Bank credits together online
• At this time, you cannot use your WestJet gift card and WestJet dollars together online

How to book with a WestJet gift card

1. Sign in, create your WestJet Rewards account or continue as a guest.
2. Search for and select your flights.
3. Continue to the payment step.
4. You will be given the option to add your gift card as a form of payment.
5. Enter your gift card number and access code. 

For Plastic gift cards the gift card number and access code are located on the back of your gift card. For eGift cards the gift card number and access code can be viewed through a link within your eGift card email.

Check your gift card balance

Travel together is double the fun. You can use your Travel Bank credits to pay for the outstanding balance of your flights when using a companion voucher. Your Travel Bank credits can be applied to your fare and/or the taxes and fees.

How to use your companion voucher and Travel Bank credits:

Here are a few things you should know:

• Your WestJet dollars and Travel Bank credits must cover the entirety of your booking, including taxes and ancillaries. 
• You must use a minimum of 15 WestJet dollars per guest, per direction.
• You must pay for all or part of your base fare with WestJet Dollars
• WestJet dollars cannot be applied against taxes, fees or charges
• Travel Bank credits can be applied to your fare and/or the taxes and fees
• Travel Bank credits and WestJet dollars cannot be combined online for WestJet Vacations packages. Please contact our call centre to book with Travel Bank Credits and WestJet dollars.

WestJet’s partnership with Flex Pay lets you spread the cost of your booking over low monthly payments. Just choose Flex Pay at checkout and you’ll receive a quick decision on your application. 

Here’s a few things to know about Flex Pay:

• Flex Pay requires some basic information such as your mobile number, date of birth, and if you are a U.S. resident, your Social Security Number.
• Flex Pay's loan applications are determined on several factors, including purchase details, credit information, and more.
• You can earn WestJet dollars when paying with Flex Pay.
• Regular WestJet dollars accrual rules apply for flights booked with Flex Pay.
• You can pay off a Flex Pay loan at any time by visiting upgrade.com/pay.
• You can use Flex Pay to pay for your entire air-only booking, including baggage, seat selection, taxes, and fees.
• Flex Pay cannot be combined with other forms of payment. 

How to book a flight with Flex Pay:

1. Search for a flight you’d like to book.
2. Continue to the payment step.
3. If available, select “pay monthly” when choosing a payment option.
4. Enter your personal information and receive a quick decision about your Flex Pay application.
5. Enjoy your booking right away and pay the balance in monthly installments by visiting pay.uplift.com.

Prepay and save. Guests are encouraged to prepay for up to two checked bags on WestJet operated and marketed flights when you book online or any time before your flight through Manage Trips.

For an additional $10, checked bag fees may also be paid when you check-in online through our self-serve options. If you choose to pay for your checked bag with an agent at the airport counter, an additional $10 fee will apply. This $10 fee only applies to tickets purchased on or after November 7, 2023. Any guests with tickets purchased on November 6, 2023, or prior, can self-identify with an agent to avoid the $10 fee.
