Not worth the money. And very secluded. Taxis be are a rip off ($70 to travel 4 miles) and Uber is not allowed

The driveway up to the hotel is extremely treacherous. Don’t fall for the preferred club it’s a waist of money. All the rooms are the same. The hotel is extremely noisy from 8am to 10pm. The food is very hit and miss. And the beaches are littered with rubbish and seaweed. If you go in October it will rain constantly. Open air Weddings are on a daily basis so you’ll have to get used to seeing them and the after parties. Wouldn’t recommend for new couples as the bathroom door is glass in all the rooms so you get no privacy. It’s like pooping in the room itself.Up side. Very good coffee shop very polite staff.

This resort was extremely friendly and accomodating. From the moment we walked in until the moment we left, we were very well attended to. We didn't have to think about anything! We were there for a family wedding and it seemed like all of the bar tenders and staff knew the bride and groom and remmebered them. It was just a fun atmosphere. Food was delicious(and I was nervous about that after reading other reviews). I didn't love all of the beverages that were offered. Probably best to just stick to the flavored margaritas (mango was the best). The regular margaritas were not great, or at least maybe just not what we usually drink in the US. The ocean view from the room was amazing! The bed was extremely confortable. I slept great every night! I would reccomend a sound machine or white noise app on your phone because some of the wedding parties do go pretty late at night. But, with the sound machine they didn't bother me at all. The staff were all very friendly. Get the shrimp tacos at Oceana and don't miss out on the breakfast buffet! We used Lomas Travel and we were at the resort within an hour of landing at the airport. Everything was seamless.
