My Husband and I just stayed at Beaches Turks and Caicos 5/14-5-19/2025. It was our first time at the resort and to Turks and Caicos. We opted to stay in the Caribbean Village and loved the all-inclusive a...menities. We do a lot of excursions off property so it made sense to pay the lower price and still have the options to dine and go wherever we wanted to take full advantage of the resort. The meals were good but our favorite was Barefoot By the Sea. I also enjoyed Arizona's and the wings at Cricketer's. The Pizza place in the Caribbean Village near the pool was good also. The beach was amazing and beautiful. Over-all the resort did not disappoint. We came for an early anniversary celebration. We received chocolate Pineapples and a bottle of champagne. That was nice but an upgrade would have been fabulous! One can only hope. Lol. Our room was acceptable for the amount of time we actually spent in it. The only issue I had was our sprinkler outside seemed broken and was facing our patio (Room 106) , and every morning everything was soaked, so we couldn't dry anything out there over night if we weren't up before 7:30 am. The microwave had to be replaced because it was broken. But the service was good when we needed anything. Someone came to the room in a reasonable amount of time. The bathroom floor was also very wet with any shower. Had to line the tiles with towels so as not to risk slipping on the wet floor. Could be more of a safety concern for people with impaired mobility. The staff was friendly and pleasant. There were a few that I enjoyed interacting with. Jurvensky at the front reception desk was wonderful! He has a smile that lights up a room and was so kind and friendly! Put that young man on some of your marketing brochures! Dendra at the section desk was also very nice. And Paulette (I believe that was her name) I would see by the coffee station in the front lobby every morning and we would chat. I loved talking to her. She was engaging when we spoke and was so pleasant to chat with. And many others throughout the resort always asked us if everything was OK in passing. I expect this is customary but it was such a nice thing to encounter every day. I did notice there's a BIG push to get people to schedule thier next vacation at Beaches while you are there. Not so sure I agree with that but I get it. Have to do the sales and marketing as well. Lol All in all our vacation was wonderful and I would return to Turks and Caicos again. Where do I start! How this resort has gone down hill. Stayed in French Village, rooms need a makeover. Food was average at best, wait times are ridiculous. Bar staff very rude, like a lot of reviews, you f...elt like an Inconvenience to them. Beach was untidy, last time 3 years ago they were clearing it every day, didnt see them once in the 10 days I was there this time. Felt the Watersports guys were also very rude, last time out "Happy" was very friendly dont know if the job has got to him but this time around he was very rude. Just seen that the Surf machine is now up and working, didnt work the whole 10 days we were there. For the money paid I expected a lot better.
