Overview
Secrets Playa Mujeres Golf & Spa Resort is located in beautiful Playa Mujeres, complete with famous white sandy beaches and stunning ocean views in a privileged gated community. This brand new, adults-only, all- suite resort is only 35 minutes from the Cancun International Airport and 10 minutes from downtown Cancun, adjacent an 18-hole signature Greg Norman golf course and in close proximity to the best golf courses, shopping centers, beachfront restaurants and nightlife in the area.
This resort will welcome its guests with an elevated club house with spectacular views of the ocean and just steps away from some of the resort's gourmet restaurants, fitness center and spa. Open-air spaces make it ideal to enjoy the warm ocean breeze. It features a protected area located between the main lobby and the main pool section where some of the region's flowers and birds can be seen and photographed.
Other fees include
- A Government of Quintana Roo environmental tax ranging from $1-7 USD* per person per night is to be paid locally to the hotel. *Subject to change.

We were there for my 60th birthday and had a wonderful time. The location is closing for renovation which I didn’t know when we booked and my comments about the property will not apply when they reopen ag...ain. The building and rooms is old and felt like it was neglected, in need of upgrade. Over all cleanliness of the rooms was good. House keeping team were great. We got champagne and cake for my birthday and the few other things that we needed and asked for were delivered promptly. I have stayed at other properties and this by far on the lower end but Dreams next door was a lot fancier. Service everywhere was 10 out 10 The hostesses at the Market Cafe, not so friendly and not very welcoming. Wait staff unbelievably friendly and I was treated like a princess everywhere and birthday was acknowledged which made me feel super special. The entertainment team Felix, Juan, Carlos, Jesus, Francisco and Sebastian made our week exciting and extremely special. They kept everyone entertained, engaged and smiling. Sergio the chef who made the best omelet for us every morning, Elvis who is super happy with an amazing voice and Katia made our dining experience very memorable. Thank you everyone for the great time!!!!!

They out did themselves once again. This was our fourth trip to this resort and have already booked 3 more trips once renovations are done. The staff here is amazing. I have a health condition that limits ...my ability to eat everything and I require certain foods. They went out of their way to accommodate me with every meal. We even had a waiter, Artemio at Portofino, that remembered us and all my restrictions and made sure I had a perfect dinner every night. The staff at Oceana was amazing. Flor, Citlali, J. Luis, Zoradya, Alex and David took care of us everyday for breakfast and lunch. I hope they all come back after the remodel. The pool concierges, Marta and Jessica, we’re always there to help and find us an open chair. This is an amazing resort and can’t wait to see it next February.
