Overview
Secrets Playa Mujeres Golf & Spa Resort is located in beautiful Playa Mujeres, complete with famous white sandy beaches and stunning ocean views in a privileged gated community. This brand new, adults-only, all- suite resort is only 35 minutes from the Cancun International Airport and 10 minutes from downtown Cancun, adjacent an 18-hole signature Greg Norman golf course and in close proximity to the best golf courses, shopping centers, beachfront restaurants and nightlife in the area.
This resort will welcome its guests with an elevated club house with spectacular views of the ocean and just steps away from some of the resort's gourmet restaurants, fitness center and spa. Open-air spaces make it ideal to enjoy the warm ocean breeze. It features a protected area located between the main lobby and the main pool section where some of the region's flowers and birds can be seen and photographed.
Other fees include
- A Government of Quintana Roo environmental tax ranging from $1-7 USD* per person per night is to be paid locally to the hotel. *Subject to change.

We have been to several Secrets. This one was better than I was expecting. The wait service around the pools was great. The food for lunch was as good as I have had anywhere. Dinner we had Bordeaux, Japanese, Oceana, and Gaucho, all were very good. The Seaside was the only disappointment and that could have been the ribeyes that night. The spa was very good. We had great massages and enjoyed the hydro therapy stations before the massages. We want to give special appreciation for the pool entertainment group, especially Jesus, Carlos and Sexy Felix.

I would not recommend this resort until it has been fully remodeled. The swim-up suite was underwhelming with many things that were broken, outdated and/or malfunctioning. The food at the restaurants were hit or miss with some meals being outstanding and others almost inedible. The beach area was nice but there were not enough beach chairs. The best thing about the resort was the wonderful staff that were always helpful and friendly.
