Mediocre resort.

The buildings are old and not well maintained. The food is less than mediocre and the service is slow. A confusing layout to the resort and not easy to get around. The staff is kind and tries their best. ...I would not choose this place on my own. It was part of a tour.
Beautiful well maintained resort

Beautiful resort in a beautiful country. We arrived and checked in, then took the shuttle to our room. The shuttle service is a great thing to have as the whole resort is on a hill so it saves a lot of wa...lking. The pools were all well kept and nice. There was a swim up bar at one with lots of additional seating around the rest of the pool. The food was good as well. Nothing to complain about. Our room was clean and the water pressure was fantastic. The staff are all friendly, and if you don't speak Spanish they will do their best to communicate with you, although I found most of them spoke enough English to communicate with you. We met a staff member named Konrad who was very friendly and fun to talk to. Overall we were impressed with this resort and would definitely come back.
