Disappointing visit

Jeff L on Mar 10, 2025

I travel quite often and live Embassy Suites. That is until I stayed at this ES. We stayed in the Presidential suite, and actually used points and not upgraded . This is an older hotel, which is fine ...if it has been upgraded. This hotel needs an upgrade. The positives were a fireplace and a nice view. The negatives were many. We requested a robe which aren't standard in the Presidential suite. The robe was not only thin and worn, but the pocket was torn. The towels were something from a motel 6. We got better towels at the pool the picture kind of shows the difference. The living room was dark. I attribute that to the missing lamp on the missing end table. The bathroom was small with a single sink and a shower curtain. Not even a curved shower rod. Very disappointing . And don't plan on opening a window for fresh air. The windows all have plexiglass over them. The nightly social hour was nice, we had a couple drinks and some cheese. The breakfast was a lot different. The buffet items were cold, both the eggs and the sausage. And we were there half an hour after they opened. Overall a very disappointing stay. We stayed at the Benson hotel weeks before and loved it. It is just a few blocks away. Highly recommended.

Bustling lobby area / lots of students

jrlec2000 (Mukilteo, Washington) on Feb 25, 2025

When checking into the lobby, there was a lot of activity. Although, the bed was comfy, there was a fair bit of noise with the various students visiting that weekend. The elevators were fairly full. The QR... code for the doors, along with many public rooms, was not catching at first scan. But overall, very good.
