I'm not angry, I'm just disappointed...OK, a little angry.

dstewart09 (Toronto, Canada) on Mar 21, 2025

If you've already booked this resort, don't worry too much about the negative reviews, none of the failings of the resort will come close to ruining your vacation, but they'll add up to the point where the...y do annoy and frustrate you, especially considering the price you've paid to stay here. Kids are always going to love it, and since that's basically why you're there, it will deliver...and they know that. If you don't have a swim up room, I don't know what to tell you, your experience will only be worse. The swim up rooms and the water park are what this place has to offer, after that, they really don't focus on much. We just returned from a week there, here's a quick run down of my issues. ROOM -No hot water for the entire stay (imagine not being able to bathe your kids after days in pools) -There was one day with NO WATER...imagine an entire resort, full, without a single toilet that flushes....yep, it was as gross as you can imagine. -swim up room Flat suite_ was probably the coolest room I've ever stayed in. FOOD (was always pretty good, no complaints about the actual food) -Buffet almost never had plates at dinner resulting in me walking next door to a restaurant and taking plates off of one of the tables there. One day we waited 20 minutes for someone to bring us cutlery. To add, you're almost always stacking your used plates at your table, they never seem to want to take them away. -Breakfast was even worse, only once in an entire week did I get a coffee refill, and rarely did I even get a cup before my kid was done his plate. -they NEVER had syrup...I still don't get this. They have a pancake/french toast station, and i watched every day as kids walked away disappointed. -They're system for reserving restaurants will frustrate you. You can only book day of, so every day it's a stress race at 9am to get a reservation They don't tell you that your concierge can book reservations for you as well, so those that do, get all the good reservations. Tip...use your concierge which they also don't tell you about when you check in, so ask about them! ENTERTAINMENT Didn't go to a single show at the theatre, but people seemed to genuinely enjoy them, it's all kid oriented and timed accordingly, but our party still couldn't make it after full days of swimming at the room or the waterpark. The daily calendar of events that shows on the TV seems to have no bearing on what actually happens. Several times we went to an area of the beach where something was scheduled and nothing was happening, when we asked, we got even more frustrated because no one knew anything. It's almost as if whoever makes the schedule doesn't show it to the team. BARS No complaints here, some good, some great, bar staff was great like most resorts. POOL/WATERPARK All great, this is what you came for and they know it. Most of the staff attention is focused in this area of the resort. Like I said above, you'll still enjoy yourself and your kids will have a blast, but we were still frustrated every day by minor things that shouldn't even be an issue for a resort that charges what they do. No hot water was brutal. I'll never stay at a Nickelodeon resort again, but really, my kid will have outgrown it by our next vacation anyway. We stayed at Grand Sirenis last year and it blows this place away...even the waterpark was better, so save some money and go there if you can.

Best Vacation Ever

Matt J on Mar 20, 2025

Wow! What a vacation. My family just returned from 10 wonderful days. Rodrigo Antonio Valerin, Entertainment Manager and Bernado from BRX are the very best! Rodrigo was there for us whenever we needed him.... He helped to make so many special memories for us.
