Sandals has never disappointed us and still hasn’t with Sandals Grand St Lucian. Beautiful property with amazing views. Staff was very nice but compared to some of the other Sandals spots not quite to th...e same level. We usually get to know a few staff members by name and miss them when we leave but no such connections here. Again, very nice but more businesslike and not as much family like (still great folks). Property is kind of small so not much in the way of walking around, which we usually love to do. Night life is limited to a small area with no shows like Ochi or Barbados so that was a bit disappointing. We have the oceanfront penthouse room but it was very small and pretty much a hotel room which we are not used to. Usually we have a larger patio to sit out on and a more space in our room (we usually travel Club level so the rooms are similar). The pools are super nice but again smaller than we are used to so not as much seating around the main pool. Food was good as part of with all of the Sandals resorts we have stayed at. Definitely will shout out Oma at Red Lane. She was the nicest person I met on our trip, she made me feel like I was her only customer that day and was very much worth every penny (Great job Oma). Like I said, very nice with nice people but our standards have been raised at other Sandals resorts and just felt like this one was great but not special so 4 stars not my usual 5 on this one. Still worth a visit…

After 19 years, my wife and I returned to Sandals Grande St. Lucian. This was our free week, and we could think of no better place to return to than the Grande St. Lucian. This was not because of the beaut...y of the resort or the quality of the restaurants or the variety of wonderful activities that we could participate in. No, my wife and I both felt strongly that the people of St. Lucia were beautiful people-both inside and out. and this is why we we returned. With that in mind, I wanted to give special shout outs to very special people who helped to make this week so special! In entertainment, I wish to recognize Fernella, Anderson, Cassius, and Vanilla. I want to especially highlight Leana and Alyan. Both of these girls were so warm and compassionate-they really were like daughters, just exceptional! At the resort shop, I want to give shout outs to Pearnola, Rosemond, and Dionne! At the resort bar, both Liann and Denver were wonderful mixologists! Overall, these people affirmed what my wife and I knew all along-that the people of St. Lucia are some of the most warm and caring people in the world – truly beautiful in every way!
