My husband and I felt spoiled by the Sandals staff the moment we stepped onto resort property. From start to finish we felt treated like royalty. The quality, variety and deliciousness of food was wonderful. Sandals Grande provided many options which we were satisfied with, but enjoyed the option to bus over to another resort if desired. The drinks were always great made by fun bartenders. The gorgeous pool was very clean, and we always found a spot to land for the day. Our top level room with a beach view was everything we dreamed of. Perfect for watching sunsets. We really enjoyed our honeymoon candlelight dinner. Our sweet waitress made us feel so special. I wish I could remember her name because she was wonderful. Sandals Grande St. Lucia was truly the perfect honeymoon spot. My husband and I say it was the best week 2nd to our wedding, of course.

First and foremost, every waitperson was wonderful! They were always friendly and smiling and helpful. Having said that, this resort was extremely understaffed. A 45 minute wait for a sit down breakfast! Not because it was crowded but because there was no staff! Each person had multiple roles at multiple locations around the resort and were spread very thin. Sandals can do better. We paid extra for an ocean view… the view is a parking lot, a street, a fence and then if you look through the trees, you may get a glimpse of the ocean. We were told we should’ve requested “beach view”. So beware. It was deceptive and bogus. We are loyalty members and the loyalty staff was absolutely no help whatsoever. We had to continually ask for our water to be replenished. No beer. No white wine. Had to continually ask for those, as well. Our air conditioning never worked properly. We will not return to this resort.
