Great value

If you are looking for luxury this might not be for you. If you are looking to stretch your dollar I would highly suggest the Emporio. The Emporio is no fancy place but every night we felt safe and the h...otel room was very clean. We chose to do the breakfast only plan and it was perfect. They have a great breakfast with some authentic Mexican breakfast foods. My only critique for the hotel is they should replace the umbrellas by the beach and put in real palapas. This would drastically improve the feeling down by the beach in my opinion.
Simple, Clean, Good Value

The emporio is a great beach hotel with good value for the price. If you’re looking for luxury, go elsewhere, but if you want a clean, no frills beach hotel this is perfect. The rooms were cool and very cl...ean. The breakfast buffet was also very good. The beach chairs are a bit dated and real palapa would be better than the umbrellas. It also was very loud some nights when there was a show. Overall, the hotel was not very expensive, and was a good value for the price.
Nice Resort

We felt very welcome and ‘at home’ at the Emporio Ixtapa Resort. It’s a beautiful area with a nice beach. It was fairly quiet and very relaxing. Our room was spacious with a comfortable king bed that overl...ooked the ocean. But, there are no balconies that you could sit out on. The window could be opened to hear the waves. Staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was the best of all the daily meals. Lunch and dinner always had plenty of food options but they were pretty much the same each day. We did eat at the Italian (reservation needed) restaurant and it was very good. The Mexican Fiesta night was amazing and one of the best we’ve experienced in Mexico in years. Food was authentic, dancing and music exceptional. Across the street, are various stores and several restaurants nearby. We felt very safe going out of the resort for a walk or to shop. It was an enjoyable holiday!

It is beautiful there. The prices are right. The pace of live is very laidback. The town has everything you need . Few people know English, I used google translate a lot. The customer service is amazing. ...I really relaxed and my worries disappeared.
Great service, so so food and loud live nightly music

The staff and service is very good! Everybody was helpful and friendly with me and my baby! We only had breakfast there and what was fresh was good (fruit and eggs done at the moment) the cooked dishes (ch...icharrón, refried beans, chilaquiles…)were not the best. Go very early because otherwise the waiting list to be fitted is super super long! The rooms need a bit of an upgrade but they are not terrible. The pool is nice and the beach is super nice. I loved that beach beds as they are more comfy to be with a baby. Every night they have live music that is very loud and due to where it’s being played you can tell it can be heard in all rooms. That was very annoying and I had to put baby down to sleep with loud white noise to block the music.
