Not the best resort.

Vieshia K on Apr 18, 2025

This place is not worth the money. Aruba itself is beautiful and the beach is gorgeous and most people are nice and we did feel safe there but this place is not worth it. I just came back recently from tr...aveling with a group. A few specifics: 1. The restaurant food was not good at all. (There were many guests of all nationalities stating the food was terrible just FYI) The buffet items were hit or miss and really depended on who was cooking it. Sometimes you would get burnt food, sometimes uncooked chicken and other times they would tell you they ran out food items an hour after lunch or dinner began. Also they would say they are out of certain liquor early on in the day. The late night bars would run out of food choices hours before closing. 2. Some staff were great and great fun. Others were rude and unhelpful. For an all inclusive resort for it's price it was not a great experience. If you are looking to eat mediocre food and be at a boring resort just to take your kids or family to Aruba to enjoy the beach then this is an option. 3. People in one room in our group had a flooding bathroom due to the shower being clogged for days and one almost fell. Staff consistently had to soak up the water leaking out all the way to through thr front of the door. It went on for almost 3 days of our 4 day stay until threatening to sew if they fell. Then they offered a room change. 4. My room smelled like a sewer in the bathroom mixed with vomit. I asked for it to be cleaned and stuff remained on the walls and on the trashcan and the smell never went away the entire stay. We supposedly were in the updated version of the property but it was not good. The oceanview rooms are disrupted compared to what they show online. Tamarjin is really rocky as far as a beach so you have to walk down further to the Divi side to enjoy the beach free of rocks so keep that in mind when choosing which side to stay at. 5. Some of the rooms look real outdated and rundown. (We know this as a group member was offered another room on site after they oversold her king room and she had to take a double bed room instead. She found this out upon arrival) 6. There was one staff member at the concierge desk that was rude to several people in my group when we were following instructions on how to reserve our bus ride back to the airport. I overheard other guests speaking about her abrupt personality. She should probably be given something else to do because the concierge desk isn't the best place for her. Overall I will not return to Aruba to stay here.

We love Divi and The Tam

Caroline B on Apr 17, 2025

While dining at the buffet I accidentally spilled my drink on the floor. Jasorick was our waiter and immediately reassured me that it was ok and he would fix it. Once it was cleaned he told me “accidents h...appen, it’s ok, just stay positive”. He was working so hard taking care of everyone and went out of his was to make my embarrassed self feel better. We are staying at the Tamarijn and have had the best experiences there and at the Divi. We are booking our next trip before we leave.
