The Divi Resort

The Divi Resort was nice. We have been there before. We were in the newly renovated Vista #2. #505. Great room, but the door are hollow and the hall echos badly . I could hear my neighbor in #507 at 5:3...0 am. Thought he was in our room. We had Ocean front balcony very lovely sitting on the balcony. As for entertainment. Some was very good .Had a bad singers one evening. The man should just play the music. Food was plentiful. A few things could be improved and that would make a great resort. Don't eat the burgers at lunch. The Red Parrot was very good great steaks & seafood. Vince was excellent waiter. The restaurant Ginger was also fantastic. The Italian Restaurant was good also. Great chicken Parm. Love the Mango martini there. The pizza bar made great pizzas. Hi to Janet at the pizza bar. Over all nice resort. Lots of pools.
Not impressed with the hospitality at the Divi

The rooms at the Divi Aruba All-inclusive were beautiful, with the exception of the nonfunctional bathroom door. I was very disappointed by the lackluster hospitality we experienced. With the exception of ...the housekeeping staff, we experienced unfriendly, rude, and unhelpful staff. The worst was Dave, a bartender at the lobby bar. He refused to wipe down the sticky bar surface, instead he tossed a we rag to me to wipe it down myself ( a mess I didn’t create). I reported Dave’s actions to the front desk and the hid Dave until we left the resort at the end of our trip. Management never reached out to me to discuss my complaint, they simply send a cheap bottle of champagne to our room along with a fruit platter. The entertainment at the Divi was basically non existent. The upkeep and service at the pool and beach was also nonexistent. Clean up around the pool didn’t occur until around 5 pm each day. The food choices were also unimpressive. I would not go back to the Divi.
