Terrible experience

I am currently here for a family vacation for my mother’s 60th birthday. For a family of four I paid almost$ 9,000. The quality of the room is poor and in a terrible location. I feel unsafe and management and staff has not been responsive. I was supposed to have an ocean view room but I need binoculars ti see the ocean. The front desk staff Ronald was rude and dismissive. A total waste of money.

My husband and I stayed at the Tam for the first time for a week in July. We had THE BEST time! We were lucky enough to get an oceanfront room that went right out to the sandy beach (no rocks). We saved two chairs in the morning and then walked over to the Divi for breakfast. You can take a golf cart over but we liked the walk! It was about 15 minutes. The breakfast buffet was wonderful! So much to choose from. Our go-to was the omelet station with a side of bacon. You can go to Le Cafe at the Divi for excellent coffee and delicious pastries! We also liked the Divi better for the lunch buffet. Everyone was so kind and friendly. We got fresh towels from the towel hut each day (you just have to trade in your used towels). We mostly stayed at the beach but we also used the Divi Dutch Village pools that were right behind our room. The drinks were excellent. Bring your own reusable cup with a straw!! They will fill your own cup with your drink of choice. They give you a reusable water bottle but maybe bring your own Aluminum one to keep the water cold longer. Lots of ice and water stations! Make your reservations for dinner when you arrive. We just went to the concierge and she helped us! Each restaurant was wonderful- especially Pure Lime and the Red Parrot. The rooms do get sandy but they sweep and mop the floor for you each day which is so nice since daily housekeeping is a thing of the past in many places. Getting a taxi to and from the airport was very easy! We would definitely stay at the Tam again!
