We had a destination wedding.. met with the wedding planner Esmy a few months back. Hurricane Beryl changed our plan but only by a day, as the staff worked hard preparing the grounds for our day. It was perfect from the rooms to the flowers, they handled it all. They have a tour company on the dock Tuf E Nuf. We all boarded their 40’ catamaran for a sunset cruise before dinner which was absolutely incredible. If you are looking for a fabulous place with a great pool on the beach look no further. Thank You for making our day special

This was by far thee best vacation ever…. Beautiful resort with stunning people, rooms, food, and views… we will be returning annually. Can’t say enough about this beauty. Thank you for amazing hospitality, we most certainly felt as if we were home away from home.

This was an EXCELLENT resort. It was everything we could ask for and more. It was the perfect size for us - not huge like many big all-inclusives or Grand Caribe, but not tiny like a boutique. It looks EXACTLY like the pictures. It was built a while ago so everything is sturdy and roomy. The villas are wonderful with living room, kitchen, bedroom, etc. and we had one right on beachfront. The staff is so gracious and loving. Every single person that works there cares about their job and the resort. The men who take shifts caring for the pool are always scrubbing it and working hard to make it look beautiful. The security man was always checking in with us and helping us. Everyone was so helpful. The pool is beyond perfect, with so many nooks and places to rest and relax. The sister property (Coco Beach) is almost next door (new property being built in between) and is alsop gorgeous. The SPA (at sister property) was great and massages for wife and I were impeccable. I cannot describe how lovely this place is. Tuff-E-Nuff dive shop on site is incredible and treated us so well for two snorkel tours. The men and women working at TuFF-E-Nuff were ALL wonderful and accommodating. We had the most wonderful vacation. It is just far enough away from San Pefdro that you don't have to deal with the hustle of the town (except when you go in for dinner - but there are many options for dinner nearby as well!).

This resort is definitely under new management, with whole new set of “ rules”. We stayed here 3 years ago and it was fantastic. Not today. At checkin we felt like we were checking into prison , desk person listed nothing but “ don’ts, no swimming in morning or evening hours, necause they “ cleaned the pools “ during those times. I call BS to that because their pool water was cloudy all the time we were there, 4 days. When you stand in a pool 4-5 feet deep, you should see bottom and your feet ! Also they said all visitors needed to check in with desk. They are not a “ spa hotel”, and I have a Mobile Spa company, highly rated and a legal registered business that I use in San Pedro. The day she came to this hotel, she tried to check in at desk, and they made her leave ! They lied and told here I was not in that room ! She called from out on road, I met her, went to desk and registered her as my guest. When she was setting up her table in my room ( door open” two hotel security men showed up and told me for “ my safety” she had to leave. I told them she was registered at desk as my guest, she would remain in my room and give me me massage, and they were to leave. They got “ testy”, I got mad and told them they better leave, which they finally did. I find this all in acceptable for any resort. Will never return here.

My wife and I just returned from Belize and had a great experience at the Belizean Shores Resort. It's about 6 km from town so not a lot of town activity. If you want to go to town you almost have to rent a golf cart or you can check out a bike. In 8 days we only went to town once, we found almost everything within walking distance of the resort. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. During our stay. The one thing that did catch us off guard was that the dine in menu at the neighboring restaurant (that also covers our room service) had a different menu and was not what we expected, it was an extremely nice meal but a little pricey, just know a head of time the dine in menu is different than the room service or pool side menu. Everything was reasonable and again the staff were extremely friendly. If you decide to go I would check out any excursions in advance, Tuff N Enough tours have an office directly on site located on the dock, We had a fantastic day on the water with them, but they will get their own review. We are already thinking about another trip next year.
