We stayed here during our trip to Banff and had a great experience. The staff were all very helpful, even helping us bring our bags to our room since we were at the very far end of the property. The views ...from the lodge were spectacular! Mountains on all sides and trees everywhere. The room itself was so nice. We had one of the upgraded rooms and it was beautiful. The on-site restaurant was delicious; we ate breakfast there one morning and dinner a couple of times. We loved sitting by the fire in the afternoon and enjoying drinks and games. The other thing we appreciated was being right next to the bus stop. Since we did not rent a car, we had to rely on the public transportation and it was so easy being able to jump on and off right next to the lodge.

The Buffalo Mountain Lodge is simply amazing. It is so cozy and rustic, but at the same time the rooms are very updated and you can tell that they have been updated recently. My room was so lovely, very re...laxing and had everything you could need while on vacation. I also cannot rave enough about the toiletries that are provided. Not only do the products smell amazing, but they feel great on your skin too. I would definitely recommend a stay here, I cannot wait to stay again the next time I am in Banff!

A wonderful Rocky Mountain retreat, everything they do is geared towards customer comfort and satisfaction. We highly recommend Canadian Rocky Mountain Resorts, particularly Buffalo Mountain Lodge. Our sta...y was lovely. We'll be back!

We are a senior couple that wanted to get out of Calgary for a break from the very cold snap we had just endured and had not been to Banff for some time. Somehow I ran across an add for this lodge at what... seemed to be a pretty decent price. However, back weather came in and I had to reschedule further out by two weeks. Unfortunately the rate no longer applied and was $89 higher. Our room was on the 2nd floor and accessed by an outdoor stairwell that had several levels to it. I was remiss in thinking that we were staying in a large building and that the dining room and lounge were accessible inside. We had to walk to the main building where the dining room in the dark and over uneven rough ground. The room itself was average with a wood fireplace and good sized walk in shower. Noise level was quiet. I would recommend for those wanting outdoor experience (hot tub was outdoor on a patio) and younger more agile generations. Definitely not suitable for those with mobility limitations.

I love Buffalo Mountain Lodge and have been several times. A little disappointed that there is no shuttle or free bus tickets anymore, but I was able to buy bus tickets easy enough. The price has also sk...yrocketed, and am being priced out. The restaurant and having drinks in the lodge, as well as the fireplaces and hot tub are my favorite part.
