A typical Delta/Marriott property. Clean and efficient. The one thing that would have been appreciated is if the hotel had a safe in the room. Great location - easy walking distance to the waterfront, the Confederation Centre, restaurants from casual to fine dining.
Not good hotel

Unfortunately, we didn't have a great experience at this hotel. The rooms are in sore need of updating and some extra cleaning! We had a handicapped accessible room, and the walk-in/wheel-in shower was a mess. It had a curtain, but it didn't reach the floor, and water spilled out all over. Didn't eat any meals here because of Marriott's high prices and bad reviews on Trip Advisor. The hotel was over-priced for what you got, including you had to pay for parking. The front desk staff were professional but not especially friendly. Would not stay here again.
Good location in town

We stayed 2 nights at this hotel. Our king room with water view was spacious, clean, comfortable and quiet. The hotel appears to cater to conventions and tour groups so it lacks some charm. The lobby felt a bit sterile. A nice amenity is the complimentary laundromat (2 washers, 4 dryers) on the 2nd floor. Much appreciated during our 2-week road trip. The location is great with an easy walk around town or along the waterfront. I would stay here again if in the area. We enjoyed a 90-minute historic walking tour of the town that I found on the Viator site.
Great location

Excellent hotel and location. We enjoyed being able to walk to so many shops and restaurants right by the hotel! The parking is underground and very nice. We had a beautiful room. The breakfast buffet here was great and we enjoyed the variety of food.
Unfortunately no not for that price, the q tip/dust we found and the water all over the bathroom floor.

Overall the stay was okay. Our room we booked a few weeks prior was taken already so at arrival they upgraded us from a queen bed ocean view to a king size bed with an ocean view that was an accessible person room. The shower was a walk in and it didn’t keep the water inside the shower. We ended up taking towels from the pool area and putting them all over our floor in the bathroom and told the workers what we did. Upon entering the room it was FREEZING, we turned the heat on until it was a warmer temperature and then left it at a nice cool feeling that was comfortable for us. The rooms you could hear the neighbours. The bed was comfortable and clean but I lost a piece of jewelry so I had to move the matress for a second and the cords / extension cords behind the bed was beyond dusty and the morning before we left we found a dirty q tip behind there YUCK! Overall the stay was okay but over $1000 for 2 nights with the small amount of situations we had was NOT worth the price. Would I stay here again? Unfortunately no not for that price, the q tip/dust we found and the water all over the bathroom floor.
