An amazing place to stay
DanJ2047 on Jun 28, 2024
Every thing about this place exceeded expectations! The rooms (at least the lake-facing rooms) were amazing and comfortable. The staff was very helpful and extremely accommodating . It is situated perfectly between attractions and the town. The buffet breakfast were fantastic. The dinner menu was great, although more limited than expected. Our only complaint, and it is minor, is that for a pet-friendly location, they didn't plan well for pets - the deck and restaurant locations for pets could have been better designed, laid out and marked. The interior couch area was perfect and you could order food there - but it was often full of non-pet owners. The outside viewing location was an afterthought on the side of the building. This place isn't cheap - but it is definitely worth the cost. Oh, and they had a "loaner dog" you could borrow if you missed your own fur-baby!!!
Excellent resort amongst the lake and mountains.

Had a two night stay here before boarding the Rocky Mountaineer and thoroughly enjoyed our time. The views from our room (104) magical, the lake right out the front and the mountains covered in snow, amazing. The room was spacious, exceptionally clean and the bed very comfortable. Management and staff were all amazing. On our first night we had a hiccup as we arrived late, our tour director never offered to pre book tables for us so we had quite a wait for a very late dinner but the staff made it better through their quick service. The food was very good, came as requested. The walk around the grounds/lake was really nice and the colours of the water mesmerizing. If we were in more peak time this resort would be really busy, as it was at the beginning of the season it was pretty full. Unfortunately unless you have a car its not the place where you can easily get into town. Management and staff really helped make this stay memorable and went out of their way to assist whenever we needed help. Highly recommended staying here and if we could we would return. Suggest you pre book dinner tables to ensure you get your desired time.
