I would not recommend staying at the Bahia Mar. I stayed at the hotel for a vacation in March, and all was well until the end of the trip. I checked my bag into the hotel bag room on the last day after we ...checked out as we waited for our flight which was only about 4 hours later. When I returned to pick my bag up, the bag was gone. The bag room had a max of 10 bags in it which made it more frustrating. The bag room attendant had absolutely no idea where it was or what to say. I then spoke to Luis, who was security at the time. Luis connected me with the security director, who said he would take a look at the security footage that day in about an hour. I had to catch my flight, so I left without my bag. My flight later got cancelled due to weather at around 11pm, forcing us to stay in Florida one more night until the next flight the next day. I called the hotel, still with no suitcase and no update on the bag, and asked if they could credit a night in any room for losing my bag. They refused, saying the best they could do was $160 + whatever fees they charge. At this point I was extremely annoyed and unsatisfied that I had to pay for an extra night after the whole situation. The next day, there was still just about no update. The security director claimed he had looked at the security footage and he may be getting somewhere, but it was apparent there was no real effort being made. They did not seem to care too much they had lost the bag and felt they had more important things to work on. Fast forward about a week, I am now home and the security director still has no lead. Again, this was all in the span of 4 hours. The footage could not have been that difficult to get somewhere, especially with the lack of bags in the bag room. I fortunately 3 weeks later received my bag from the kind woman that accidentally took it. The woman found a tag inside my bag and called the number. The hotel and security made ZERO effort in the meantime. I would not recommend going here. I surely will never be back here and may never stay with Hilton again. If you value your belongings, either stay away from the incompetent workers that work the bag room, or don't go here at all.

Room is old but reasonable clean considering. The pool bar was absolutely disgusting. We ordered 2 drinks $43.00 and the bar and back bar were so dirty. There was no way this was from just the morning ...of serving. There is a small store where you can order food and coffee in the morning. The location was good. There is a new waterfront area with all types of small take out restaurants/Ice Cream /bars etc. This was very nice and clean. We won't be going back to this hotel.

Staying for 3rd time at bahia mar and next year it will be condos ! Wanna point out Rafael Lobo, vallet person !! He was amazing, what is gonna happen to him when becomes condo?? This guy ran , answered q...uestions, helped us with 1 hour free bicycle rental. Seen him twice run up stairs to help people get out bridge door to go ocean! He is definitely dedicated, knowledgeable, genuine, friendly, willing to help, he is great!! Please make sure he gets another job !

Upon arrival and check in I was greeted by desk agent Rosemarie was very professional and courteous and should be commended for her excellent customer service skills. I was given 2 bottles of water and 2 C...hocolate Chip cookies which was my favorite during my stay. The room was super clean and comfortable. The hotel is located across from the Marina for those who like to fish and close by to nearby restaurants. There’s a water taxi at the Marina. The food at the restaurant was superb, hats off to the chef the Oxtail, mash potatoes and asparagus was a big hit. Though I was somewhat disappointed that there were no ribs available. The staff at the restaurant James,Juliet and Janet should be commended for a job done well.

The stay was beautiful. Our server Geanina was so helpful and very friendly. She made our stay an even better experience. She was very quick to help and assist us with anything we needed at the bar/dining ...area. I highly reccomend going here for the friendly staff and the beautiful rooms. Geanina really made our time dining a great experience! Thank you.
