Please note the following renovation projects at the Pacific Monarch Hotel.
Spalling repair: Repairing exterior concrete deterioration and repainting of the entire building. There may be noise during working hours, Monday – Friday from 8:00am to 4:00pm.
Lanais: Some guest room lanais may have limited access during working hours. If a lanai needs to be closed completely, the hotel will do their best to keep these rooms vacant.
Rooftop Pool: The rooftop pool will be closed from December 16, 2024, to February 21, 2025. During the closure, guests will have access to the Bamboo Waikiki Hotel outdoor pool, located next door to Pacific Monarch. Rooftop Amenities including Jacuzzi, Barbeque Grill, Cornhole Game, and Outdoor Dining Area: These amenities will remain available until January 6, 2025. After this date, all rooftop amenities will be closed until February 22, 2025.
All efforts are being made to avoid any impact to guest experience.

Overall we had a positive stay. The best parts were the proximity to Waikiki Beach, food, shopping, free parking. We loved the rooftop pool, hot tub, sauna, lounging area and view. Our room was clean and t...he kitchenette was very well-equipped. Amenities were great and so was the view from the 28th floor. The pull-out bed in the couch was hard and not very comfortable, but with that and twin beds, we four adult siblings had a great stay. The layout and amenities within the room were excellent. We would stay here again!
Good value, completely adequate, not a grand hotel

I chose this hotel for a conference rate and an extremely good location for my meeting. The room was not luxurious, but I was happy to have a refrigerator and kitchen equipment. Everything was clean and fu...nctional; the elevators were speedy and convenient. The room lighting was good for reading, which is something I appreciate. The TV did not receive broadcast channels--or maybe I couldn't figure it out--and I would have liked watching local news and weather. There's no bar or restaurant, but several ABC Stores in the area can supply breakfast foods and other supplies.
