Let's say that you want -- or need -- to be at the Hilton Hawaiian Village, but it's booked or too expensive or something. And you don't need luxury. only a clean room. This is the place for you. You might... consider the Courtyard by Marriott. That's in the same price range and gives Bonvoy points! It is closer to the shops and restaurants of Waikiki but further from the Hilton and the beach. So there we have it. The rooms are nice although not huge. The lobby is basic. The Island Deli (a division of the ubiquitous ABC stores) is right next door and is one of the best ABC-type locations for food, souvenirs and misc. sundries. There was construction going on when i was there. I've been slow to post this review and I hope it's finished by now!

This hotel is adequate. Rooms are clean. The hotel is located in a great location, with many restaurants, shops and attractions nearby. In fact, there’s a IHOP that is next to the hotel. Rooms offer ve...ry nice city views. Each room also has a balcony.

Amenities fee upon arrival. Arrogant staff when we checked in. Pool was closed most of the trip due to maintenance with loud noises throughout stay. There was always cleaning trolleys left outside our room... which made it annoying to get through. Oh and there was a Cockroach found crawling around the room. Probably wouldn’t stay here again. Lift also takes a long time 2/3 working.

FOR MY PARTNERS 70TH BIRTHDAY, THIS CENTRALLY LOCATED AQUA PLAMS PROPERTY, ALLOWED US SENIORS, EXCELLENT EASE OF TRAVEL! EVERY NEED IS TREATED IMMEDIATELY! THEY HAVE A POOL, LAUNDRY AND EVEN THE CITY VIE...W APTS ARE BEAUTIES! LOCAL BUSES WILL BRING YOU TO THE HOTEL, FROM THE AIRPORT! THEY ALSO WILL TAKE YOU TO PEARL HARBOR, WAKIKI, AND TWO OF THE MAJOR MALLS! NO NEED TO RENT A CAR, THERE ARE ALSO VARIOUS JITNEY/TROLLEYS, TO VARIOUS LOCATIONS! ACROSS THE STREET, AT THE HILTON WAKIKI LIES ACCESS TO THE BEACH & SOME SUPER EATERIES (INCLUDING STARBUCK'S)! WE PLAN ON TAKING THIS VACATION, HEALTH WILLING, EVERY 2 YEARS UNTIL WE CANNOT ANYMORE!

Had to pay a surcharge of USD$120 for four nights for the pleasure of having facilities in the room..ie fridge, safe. All rooms had this so why did we not know about this extra charge when we booked? This... was really disappointing and we would have stayed elsewhere had we known about this.
