Decent but not our favorite resort.

Pros: Shower, Bed, A/C, coffee, stocked fridge, view, service (mostly), entertainment, and we could always get a lounge chair by the pool. Con’s: one restaurant is terrible. Lots of hills to climb. Older... resort. Kitchenette had nothing but coffee and fridge. Paraíso agent spoke zero English. Friendliness was lacking at times with staff.

The reason for the lower rating of this resort is the fact it is quite dated. Beautiful grounds, but long wait for the buggies, which you’ll rely on a lot since the property is massive. If you're planning ...a full beach day, be prepared to bring everything with you—or face a 40-minute round trip back to your room. As stated earlier, he grounds are stunning and the scenery is beautiful, but the resort is built into a cliffside, which could be a challenge for anyone with mobility issues. The room was very large, well equipped but quite dated. The food was very hit and miss. Not a big buffet fan in general, but the food there was better than the a la carte restaurants on the grounds. They offer a solid range of activities, which is a plus. However, the pool area is quite small. That didn’t bother us much since we’re not really pool people, but it was a bit of a letdown that there’s no hot tub. In conclusion, it's not really a bad place, and because of the prime location in the area, we would stay there again, but there are just too many negatives for us.
