Keep your expectations low!

We have been at many resorts throughout Mexico. This was our worst experience. The rooms was dingy and dirty. Dead bugs under pillows and sheets, sticky walls, soap scum in bathroom, mold in bathroom, et...c. Asking house keeping didn't help. Threadbare linens. Almost no English. Spotty internet. Many of the advertised amenities were not open/available. Food was - well mostly mushy? Very limited and modest (to say the best) entertainment. No real English TV. Everything closed up early (including beach access). Overpriced and overrated. Just run-down. The beach area is quite a walk (the little shuttle was never available when needed). Don't compare this to what you would get in the Mayan Rivera, etc.
Stunning place, very poor facilities

The hotel leaves a lot to desire! Very tired facilities, portals beds and bedding, the mold in all the bathrooms. The beach club is stunning, sun loungers cushions are absolutely disgusting! The food is te...rrible. Again the location is amazing and the staff is very friendly.
