Activities are not real and just a marketing trick

The hotel itself is nice. And the pool facilities were great. Food was very good. Our biggest problem was many of the activities were fake. For example, the Penguin Presentation on 4/2 was a total of 4 ...minutes. Yes by calling it a “Penguin Presentation” lots of people abandoned the pool or other activities to be there. We felt very cheated and duped. The “Whale Talk” event on 4/2 just didn’t happen. Staff just casually said, oh we just didn’t update the calendar. Again, we left the pool to be there! The Meet a Real Mermaid event is advertised on the website but when you get to the hotel they tell you it is only two days a month. Needless to say we had some very dissapointed kids.
NOTHING SPECIAL - TOO EXPENSIVE - BAD FOOD

I would not recommend this place. It is expensive, and you may end up with a large bill at the end. The management was unhelpful when our credit card was stolen, and they removed our benefits for not using... an American Express. The hotel feels outdated and below average. If you do stay, consider a shorter visit and look for a nicer option. The food is disappointing, but the service is decent. If you're looking for a very average hotel, this is it. On the plus side, the pool area is spacious, with three pools available.
