Amazing Family Vacation

Hyatt Regency Maui was a dream for our family vacation. Everything was top notch. We even swam with turtle right outside of the hotel. I love how close everything is. I felt like we were close to the actio...n without feeling crowded or stressed. The hotel is very family friendly and made our children feel so welcome. We enjoyed the cultural activities, pools, beach, and food so much.
Pool area no longer what it used to be

I used to love this hotel because of the cave pool and water falls. They have closed that down and covered that entire side of the pool with a tall, large white flagstone wall. Some call it unsightly and I... don’t disagree. The flow and feel of the area feels off now and it’s no longer as near as nice of pool as before. We won’t be returning since that was the main reason we chose this hotel. We didn’t know about the changes until we arrived since the pics online still show the old setup. We would not have booked here if we had known it changed. The vibe seems all off with the big white wall.
