Don’s Steakhouse

Caroleena s on Jun 01, 2025

My family and I went to dinner at Don’s steakhouse and it was absolutely phenomenal! The weight staff didn’t miss a single beat. The entire dinner was a celebration of a special family event and they pulle...d out all the snoops. It was the most memorable experience than I’ve ever spent at any restaurant anywhere you are definitely coming back.

Fantastic but expensive

Daniel N on May 30, 2025

The Fontainebleau Las Vegas is an upscale, pleasant, friendly, and gorgeous new hotel. Staff was very friendly, pleasant, and professional throughout - from check-in, to room service, to restaurants, to p...oolside, to housekeeping, to checkout. A+ for staff and service. The room was very clean, a nice size, with attractive decor and useful furniture pieces. The bed was super comfortable and the shower was awesome! Great water pressure and heat. In fact, enjoying the water pressure of the shower was one of the small pleasures of the stay. A+ for the room. Main casino floor is gorgeous, with excellent ventilation. I hardly ever smelled any smoke though people were clearly smoking. They don’t have a poker room (which I would’ve liked), but seem to have everything else. Casino floor felt fun but also spacious and non-crowded. Rideshare areas are convenient and well-marked. A for the casino. Pool was also awesome, with a neat layout, and multiple pools. They even had a fun little movie night on Sunday where they played Top Gun on a screen. A for the pool. Got a couple strawberry daiquiris and they were really good, albeit expensive ($24 for one 12oz). And I think the cheapest beer was like $9? Which brings me to the only real drawback about Fontainebleau - ALL food and drinks are expensive. They have a food court, but it’s upscale and pricey too. Want a quick couple slices of pizza and a bottled water? That’ll be $34. Chicken sandwich, fries, and a coke? $46. And I’m just talking about the food court. The little grab and go coffee shop was also the same. Ate a single meal in the sportsbook and got room service one night - both those meals were $70-some dollars. The food tastes good, but make your peace ahead of time with the fact that it’s all very expensive. So B for food options. I could afford it and was OK with it. And I know it’s Las Vegas, but it was honestly still kinda exhausting after 2.5 days to have no escape from the high food prices. So for this reason, for me, the value proposition overall wasn’t quite there to give them a full five stars. But if they’d mixed in a few low-cost options, I would have easily given them five stars. If anyone from the hotel is reads this, if you would consider adding just a few lower-cost options (maybe 1 restaurant, one coffee shop, and one low-cost alcoholic drink at the pool), that’d go a long way towards making the stay more comfortable. I’d still eat in one of the more expensive restaurants, but giving us the ability to mix it up would be greatly appreciated. That said, overall I had a great stay and really enjoyed the Fontainebleau. I’d consider staying here again. And btw FLV, Resorts World, and Encore/Wynn, there seems to now be a critical mass of good stays, eats, and shopping in this northern end of the strip - another plus. It’s also walking distance to The Peppermill. So if you want an upsacle, gorgeous, friendly and fun experience, Fontainebleau Las Vegas is a great option!

Great option with modern amenities

SanthoshJayakumar (Glen Rose, Texas) on May 29, 2025

Was at the property for a corporate event. Everything was managed well except that my room was not ready when I arrived around 3:30 PM. They took my mobile number and texted when it was ready which took co...uple of hours. The room that was eventually allocated was on the 70th with great views. Their housekeeping team does a great job, food at the event and the one meal we had at one of the restaurants were all nice. The staff was well trained and were polite & helpful.

Amazing!

Highest quality resort in Vegas. Will not stay anywhere else! Room was outstanding. Best showers ever! Resort not crowded. Super luxurious and not expensive for what you get. Komodo restaurant is an... awesome experience! We stayed at another resort for part of our visit to Vegas and are so disappointed that we didn’t stay at Fountain Blue the entire time.
