Good hotel, great location

Stayed here for 5 nights in July 2024 in a Resort King room. Overall, it’s a pretty good hotel/resort, but it needs some TLC. Starting with the elevators, there are twelve elevators for each of the two towers (North and South), with six elevators serving the lower floors, and six serving the higher floors. Even with the elevators split up like this, there always seemed to be a long wait for an elevator to arrive. The outside of the elevator doors had chips in the paint that were poorly covered and most of the screens in the elevators didn’t work, with some of them having “scratchitti “ on them. The wallpaper in the hallways had stains and scratches on it, and the table in the elevator lobby on my floor had seen better days. The room was pretty nice, albeit a bit dated and could use a refresh. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. The furniture was in good condition, but the wallpaper was starting to peel off at the bottom of the wall in places. The user interface for the TV felt pretty dated. The was no option to view your folio, check out, or stream Netflix, YouTube, etc. The internet (included in the resort fee) was reasonably fast at around 56mbps download and 36 Mbps upload speed. The air conditioning was quiet and had no trouble keeping the room cool. The bathroom was huge, with a large soaker tub and a separate shower. I was on the 12th floor and didn’t have any issues with water pressure. The dual sinks on opposite sides of the bathroom is a nice touch and would be great for couples since they could each have their own sink and not get in each other’s way. While the overall condition of the hotel needs some minor improvements, the big plus for this property is the location. Located in the centre of The Strip, and attached to the Miracle Mile Shops, it doesn’t get much better than this. It’s within easy walking distance of many other major hotels such as the Bellagio, Caesar’s Palace, New York New York, etc. The Northbound stop for The Deuce is directly in front of the hotel, and the nearest monorail stop is at the nearby Horseshoe (formerly Bally’s).

We stayed for 4 nights here to end our honeymoon. The room was stylish and clean. There was a long line of about 45 mins at check in which was frustrating after a long day travelling, but when we visited other hotels this seemed like the norm. The air con in the room was perfect, super simple to use and cooled the room down really quickly, which was needed in 42 degree heat. There was plenty of storage space in the room - a wardrobe, a set of drawers and a bedside table each. The bathroom was great and the bath was sooo relaxing, although the shower was not as powerful I I would have liked , it was totally fine for 4 nights. The only downside was we didn’t not have a room clean for any of the days we were there, it was mainly the bins that needed emptying and some towels needed changing so not the end of the world. We couldn’t see anywhere that you had to request room cleaning but we could have missed it. The casino was great super friendly staff and clean and the “Miracle Mile” had all the shops and restaurants you could want. Having an abc store was also a huge plus. It was quite confusing how big the hotel was, especially lack of signage in the casino when our room was specifically accessed by “south elevators” only, would have been good to have a map! The pool deck was huge with 2 pools but closed at 6pm so after busy days of exploring we didn’t get to use this much. All sun beds by the pool had to be hired, we would expect this for the day beds / cabanas but not a normal sun bed. There was a bar, loud music and table football etc too.
