Nice gym and big rooms

Great place gym was nice trainers were nice spa was nice although steam did not work room are big they did not fill mini bar as much as I would like beach is small but ok monkeys all over very hot in may H...alle in gym was very nice as was her team show could be better

I would think twice before booking. I'll start with the hotel transportation. The air conditioning is horrible. We were sweating to death by the time we arrived at the resort. Walking in the resort ...is no better; extremely hot everywhere you go. Check-in was a nightmare. After traveling all day, we were told to wait in the Star class area. Well, no one was in the regular check-in, so we went there. The room was hot and muggy throughout our trip, with a musty smell. You are trying to find a cool place in the resort. And you can't, our travel agent did book rooms close together with my parents, and requested a building with an elevator. We were in two different buildings and had to speak with a manager to get it switched. took forever, but they changed our rooms, but with no elevators, which was hard on my parents We booked a director's suite with a view of the building. The room was spacious, but again, it was hot our entire trip. Star Class was really a waste of money, only two bars in the resort can you get premium liquor, we even booked a Cabana for the day and couldn't get top brands. Booking restaurants, we didn't have any problems, our butler took care of it all. We did try to switch one night and were told nothing was available. The food was good, but we wouldn't eat at the buffet. The only restaurant that tried to accommodate me, having celiac disease being gluten free was the Tex-Mex. I did have gluten-free pasta in the Italian restaurant, but it was horrible. We just wanted to get off the resort, so reading other reviews, we found Alex on the Beach tours, which was the only good thing about our trip. You can find him on the Beach. We arranged two tours with them and a private transfer back to the airport. Their vehicles are very nice, and the a/c works. We travel a lot, and this was a horrible experience
